🐈National Feral Cat Day🐈‍⬛

Every year, shelters everywhere are flooded with unwanted litters of kittens. A lot of these come from feral cat litters found in neighborhoods or unfixed cats interacting with unfixed feral cats. Please help us work in the community to get these cats fixed!

It takes community involvement to control feral populations. You can help by donating money to our TNR Program. We offer a low-cost spay/neuter fee for ferals that includes a rabies vaccination and ear tipping. You can donate in person or online. Be sure to note "TNR" on the donation.

🌼June Adoption Specials! 🌼

We have lots of specials you will want to take advantage of when looking for your next fur-member! Tomorrow, Wednesday, our facility will be fully open to see dogs and cats! We have been diligently cleaning and working to ensure our dogs are back to healthy and happy!

Stop in to see us this week! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adopting please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. That way you can be pre-approved and possibly take your pet home the same day! We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! If you decide not to adopt, then we will keep your app on file for a short period and you can keep watching for the pet that best meets your needs.

Dear cat owners,

Most declawing veterinarians don't want you to see this post.
Why? Because they make easy and good money barbarically amputating your beloved cat's toe bones and claws like the ones in the photo. (Scalpel declaw)

The facts are that declawing is inhumane, cruel, and ALWAYS causes negative issues for your cat's long term health and well being.
There are credible and recent peer reviewed studies that prove this.

If you really love your cat and want what's best for them, please take the humane path and use the easy, humane alternatives to declawing like sturdy scratching posts, scratching pads, nail trims, deterrents like double sided tape and Feliway, Soft Paws, etc.

Below is the info that declawing vets do NOT want you to read. Also, a study showed that declawing causes chronic stress.
Remember, cats are masters at hiding their pain and suffering so they silently suffer for the rest of their lives from walking on those 10-18 amputation sites.

If your vet declaws cats, please ask them to honor their veterinary oath and stop. If they won't then it's best you take your pets to ethical and humane vets who put the welfare of ALL animals over profits.

Just look at her face. ❤️ Jan 6th, Blue will be 2yrs old. She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations. She is good with other dogs & cats. Consider adopting this sweet & well- behaved girl into your family.

With the help of a friend providing food/water support for months, 2 more BP ferals/trapped. They are getting spayed/neutered today and will have forever home. ❤️

What's going on in our community that we have dogs , cats, and horses loose? Then the other side of the coin we have dogs that are missing or taken from their yards! Seriously!!!
Guys, it's simple! IF YOU GET A PET, THAT PET IS YOURS FOR THE DURATION!!! Not until it is no longer a puppy or kitten. They are looking to you as their owner, master/mistress. They look to you for unconditional love. You come home and they are there to greet you with wagging tails. It doesn't matter what you look like or what kind of day you've had, they are excited to see YOU!
PLEASE, CONSIDER BEFORE GETTING A PET! And if you'd like to get another pet, consider the Sumner Co. Humane Society. They have a great facility and people to help you.
