*UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING* This sweet kitty is Julia. She is a stray that was set to be a TNR, but she is just too sweet to be released. She loves head scratches and biscuit making. She is spayed, has her 1 year rabies, 1 month FVRCP, and tested negative for the feline retroviruses. If you are interested in giving Julia a home please let us know. She is currently living at our office.

We would like to introduce you to our newest veterinarian at Straley Veterinary Associates! Dr. Chelsea Geyer is a central Pennsylvania native. She received her Bachelors degree from Delaware Valley University and went on to graduate from Mississippi State University CVM as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband, Justin, are huge animal lovers. They have 7 dogs and 4 cats, the oldest being her 16 year-old childhood miniature dachshund, Rosie. Dr. Geyer's professional interests include preventative medicine and geriatric care. Her hobbies include camping, fishing, and spending time with her husband and their pets.

Spike ( age 8) and his " sister" Minnie ( age 11) need a loving home set up urgently. They belong to Dr. Kocher's neighbors whose health status is pushing them into assisted living. Ideally they would be rehomed together as a bonded pair. Their humans will be leaving in 7 to 10 days and we would like them to stay with the family until they leave. If you can provide a home please reach out to our office or to Dr. Kochet directly for more information. TIA.

On Wednesday Loranna and Heather got the chance to participate in a career fair where they talked to almost 300 K-5th grade students. They enjoyed educating our youth about the Veterinary industry, animal health and answering all of their questions! Lulu came along for the free pets 😊🐕
