This week end Sophia and Sunny will be making their 3rd Level debut at the final PVDA Ride for Life Show at PGEC 💕

Started in 2004, Ride for Life has raised over $976,000 for the Johns Hopkins Breast Center. Donations support quality of life research, patient retreats, and breast surgical oncology fellowships. The Johns Hopkins Breast Surgery Fellowship is 100% supported by the PVDA Ride for Life.

All donations go 100% to JHBC and are tax deductible.

Jacob’s Hawk is in the 2023 Pony Stallion Service Auction to Benefit New Forest Pony Society NA. His frozen semen is stored at Peterson Smith Reproduction Center and has gotten several mares pregnant including as recent as a 2022 foal.

FB memories reminded us Marley was born 12 years ago today. Full sister to June! We’re predicting June will go roan just like Marley & we’re hopeful she will be just as athletic!

We welcomed June (Jacob’s Hawk x Wicked Courtjester) yesterday evening 4/3. She decided to make her appearance in private & thankfully, everything went well, and both mom & baby are healthy! We’re so excited to have a Hawk baby on the farm after 11 years.

Breed of the Week
The New Forest Pony has an ideal temperament and are easy to train. Their action when moving is free, active and straight, but not exaggerated.
There have been New Forest Ponies in the New Forest since the end of the last Ice Age.
During the 19th Century they were regularly raced and with prizes of £5 or £10, they became a valuable asset. The ponies are quite capable of carrying adults, while narrow enough for small children.

After 129 horse and rider combinations tried their hand at the nine obstacle course, Erin Morera and Nominee, a New Forest Pony, emerged as the Regular Large Pony Hunter Reserve Champion.
Nominee an 11-year-old New Forest Pony gelding owned by GC Ponies, LLC, earned the reserve champion title with a total score of 1038.220. These New Forest ponies can excel at any level!

Hailey Guidry was presented with the top prize in the Small Green Model, aboard Memphis, a 7-year-old New Forest Pony gelding owned by Samantha Schaefer. The young gelding caught the judge’s eye with his eager expression and picture-perfect conformation, earning them a score of 264.310 winning the Model phase. Hailey Guidry and Memphis holds on to a solid lead over a competitive field of 46 small green hunter ponies at the Green Pony Hunter National Championship at Pony Finals.

2020 got you down? Want to start anew in this 2021 show season? Well we've got news for you! Starting NOW, yes, right now - NFPSNA is accepting online shows for points in our show program! Simply compete in an online show and send us your records and we will add in your points! All online shows with appropriate documentation will count as a schooling show!

Staying safe and showing has never gotten easier! We look forward to receiving your reports! And don't forget: Have fun!

The nitty-gritty details BEFORE participating in an online show:

Membership up-to-date
Pony must be registered with NFPSNA
Pony must be enrolled in Lifetime Achievement

The submission procedure is the same:

Show report form- completed and signed, one per event
Show documentation- score sheets for dressage, results of the class, and copy of the classlist which must include the name and date of the show
One photocopy of the pony's NFPSNA registration certificate (front and back) (to be sent with the first points submitted for the year)
Show reports are due within 90 days of the event, no later than January 15th following the competition year
