Last summer we had a deck pet. Her name was momma spider (jumping spider).

She was missing a couple legs but we made sure we took care of her. I guess she moved into the house once it got cold and we found her curled up inside of our vent.

I Preserved her in a beautiful suncatcher that we will hang in our window so she can enjoy the sun for the rest of her afterlife just as she always did every warm afternoon.

I apologize for the lack of engagement on my page. My health has not been 100%. I have 2 surgeries coming up in hopes they will help. My body is fighting against my own organs and it's greatly affecting my quality of life. I hope very soon I will be better and back to my normal self. Thank you everyone for your support and I hope to get back to creating on a consistent basis very soon!

Being a business owner and a mother is NOT for the weak 😮‍💨 every time my business is doing great I feel like I’m slacking as a mom but every time I’m being a great mom I feel like I’m slacking as a business owner and it’s truly one of the hardest things to juggle.

Shoutout to all the women out there trying to find that balance cuz getting up to face that amount of pressure everyday is something most people wouldn’t even attempt!

I spent a good 12 hours sewing alot of clothing for me and the kids today. This is the first thing I have ever made for myself. A pajama dress because who really ever likes wearing pants. I'm exhausted. I over worked myself BUT the reward... a piece of clothing that fits me perfectly for the first time ever. Made exactly how I like it. Oh and you bet once I get a good night's sleep this baby is getting pockets sewn in as well!

I was asked to make a commission for a window decal for a family who recently lost their twins.
Two beautiful souls that unfortunately were ment to be angels before they even entered this big world. I would be lying if putting this together didn't make me emotional. I hope I was able to aid in the journey of navigating the incredibly difficult struggle of losing not one but two children.
I'm glad I could give this to them and I hope I did well. Three beautiful boys walking this earth and two beautiful angels watching from above.

What I do can be a bit... well odd for some and that is okay! I understand others would like to think I set out and harvest animals for the purpose of profit.
This is not the case at all. I will begin by saying I have never taken a life for the sake of my business.

I actually started this business when
I wanted to use what others would leave behind and bring a level of beauty in death that hasn't been seen before. My family came here from Finland 7 generations ago. Nothing goes to waste. We were taught to value everything we have and told from a young age that if we feed the earth, the earth will feed us. The circle of life can be pretty hardcore. If I can bring some form of peace to the chaos we all deal with in our daily lives, I will do my best to do that.

Our world holds all the beauty you could imagine. We just have to slow down and smell the flowers. There is magic on this earth and we need only open our eyes.

And please know if you ever purchase anything from me that I took as much time, care and respect into every piece to bring out the best result I possibly can.
