We can provide preventative care, pain management, and several types of diagnostics. Services provided include blood, f***l, and urine testing, diagnostics of ear infections, and skin tumors or infections. We carry 70+ medications with us, so we often can dispense needed medication right in your home. We also offer hospice/euthanasia services, including options for care of remains.

SNOW DAY UPDATE!
First, Happy "P**p in the Bedroom" Day to those who celebrate!
This cherished holiday doesn't get to happen every year, and it's truly special when it becomes a multi-day celebration!
**We were hoping to open at noon, but with almost everyone canceling, we will happily stay home and dig ourselves out for tomorrow!
Closed monday. Open tuesday!

Monday snow day plan!
As of sunday night, we are hoping to open the clinic at noon monday. We shall see!
Phones will be answered starting at 9am. Please call or text us before coming up. We will be in contact with the scheduled appointments.

This year I planted a pollinator garden in the backyard of the clinic! My goal was to make it entirely consist of native plants, and to prove it doesn't have to cost a thing! I chose this because native plants help insects reproduce, and as you may know, they are the base of the food chain. The native plants will feed birds and critters, as well as help the pollinators such as butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
I planted almost two hundred plants in this space in may. We definitely suffered some losses! I collected plants that I had grown at home and divided. I harvested seeds from plants last year (some on the side of the road!) and started them over the winter. Some, I traded people with other native plants, so I could get new genetics. I traded both plants and seeds.
There is one plant in the garden that I bought for $5, because I couldn't find anyone that had it to spare, and I really wanted to have it in my garden. Besides that, I didn't spend a penny!
I thought I would share some pictures from my native plant garden and show that you don't have to spend any money to grow a beautiful garden if you are willing to put in the time, planning, and effort!
So far the pollinators have been appreciative! If you are near the clinic and want to peek in the backyard, feel free!

This is my girl Tasha.
She hates storms!!!
I don't need a weather app. All I need is her - she can detect thunder 500 miles away.
We've only had her for about a year because she spent the first 5 years of her life in a cage at a Missouri puppy mill.
It took us several tries to find the right combination of drugs.
During storms, she used to do full body trembling, climb me like a jungle gym (at 80 lbs!) and drooling so much, I have to wring my shirt out!
With the right combo of drugs, she can lie on the couch with me and look like a somewhat normal dog. She's still a bit freaked out, but is able to cope with her feelings. And of course, we talk about her feelings. A lot.
If the last couple weeks have been really rough on your dog, there are things we can do to help them! They don't need to be totally stoned. It takes some tinkering sometimes to find the right combination, but it is worth it when you find it!
