Our clinic has been certified as an official "Santa's E.L.V.E.S." (Emergency Landing and Veterinary Expert System) location.

In the event that Santa's reindeer team needs to make an unscheduled Christmas Eve stop for sled repairs, refueling, or vet care, staff at our clinic will be available to provide needed assistance and ensure a safe and on-time delivery of Santa's cargo.

📣 Welcome Dr. Phillips

We’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Tom Phillips to the Bellevue Veterinary Emergency and Specialty team!

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Phillips earned his undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University before heading west to graduate from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He also completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship in Sacramento, CA. His professional interests include emergency and critical care, trauma, anesthesia, and pain management.

Dr. Phillips proudly serves in the Washington Army National Guard. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, working on cars, and relaxing at home with his wife and their two cats.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Phillips on board and can’t wait for you to meet him!

🐾 Meet Dr. Megan Davis! 🐾 Born and bred in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Davis obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2010. She completed her rotating internship and emergency/critical care residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston and received board certification in emergency/critical care in 2014. She has since worked in private practice in the Bay Area and Seattle and has previously telemedicine consulted with other veterinarians on emergency/critical care patients.

💪 She chairs the identification and verification subcommittee for the Veterinary Committee on Trauma (VetCOT). 💪 Her clinical interests include trauma, critical care anesthesia, acute pain management, respiratory emergencies, antibiotic stewardship, and sepsis.

Outside of work she enjoys good food and wine, dabbling in dog training, travel, horseback riding, hiking, and is an avid reader 📚. We are proud to call her our colleague and our friend!

We’re excited to introduce Dr. Harmon, who joins us with over a decade of experience in Emergency and Critical Care. Originally from Missouri, she’s called the Pacific Northwest home for 8 years and has a passion for critical ICU care, trauma, and neonatal patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Harmon enjoys rock climbing, triathlon training, and spending time with her husband, two dogs, and Maine C**n cats. She’s thrilled to reunite with familiar faces in Bellevue and looks forward to reuniting pets with their families after illness or hospitalization. 💙

With a focus on internal medicine, she has special interests in gastrointestinal disease, nutrition, autoimmune conditions, and hormonal disorders. Dr. Johnston is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond and improving the lives of her patients and their families.

Today, National Pet Memorial Day, we recognize the important role our pets play in our lives and we honor those pets who have passed away. Our caring staff offers our condolences to the pet parents who are mourning the loss of their pet.
