This is the beautiful Iris the Meyers Parrot. She’s boarding with us while her dads out of town. A Meyer's parrot has black feathers, turquoise belly, blue rump, and bright yellow markings on the carpal joint of the wings. If you call or come in I’m sure she’d be happy to make noises for you.
This is Shelby she’s a Russian Tortoise boarding for 42 days with us. These guys have been present on earth for 200 million years and can have a life span of 50-100 years. They’re herbivores and their diet consists of leafy greens, weeds, and flowers. They can range anywhere from 13-25 centimeters long. Their shells act like armor to keep them safe, but are sensitive to the touch. They have both exoskeleton (shells) and endoskeletons (ribs, collar bone, and a spine). #tortoise #russiantortoise #turtle #exotic #exoticvet #turtlevet #reptile #reptilevet #shelby

Who else is outside enjoying this B-E-A-UTIFUL sunny day with their fur babies!? This is my indoor only spoiled, only child/fur baby Mocha. She saw me eating ice cream through the screen door and meowed cause she wanted grass, so I put her harness on and her leash which she hates, but she is a scaredy cat so she has to wear it. I let her have a small snack and then snuggles with momma while we soak up some rays! Post your fur babies enjoying the sun below! ⬇️
