Attention pet owners: 🐶🐱 There has been a recent outbreak of bird flu (avian influenza) in our area, and while the risk to dogs and cats is low, it’s still important to stay informed and take precautions to keep your pets safe.

💡 What You Should Know:

Bird flu primarily affects birds but can occasionally spread to mammals, including pets, through close contact with infected birds.
Symptoms in pets may include fever, respiratory issues, or reduced appetite. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Avoid letting your pets interact with wild birds or their droppings during walks or outdoor play.
📋 Tips to Protect Your Pets:
1️⃣ Keep pets indoors or supervise outdoor time to limit exposure. 2️⃣ Regularly clean and disinfect areas where your pets eat or play. 3️⃣ Stay up-to-date on your pets’ health and monitor for any signs of illness.
