Her name might be Camo, but you can't miss her! This gorgeous gal with the thousand-mile stare came to us last week through our Lifesaver Rescue program, hopping a plane all the way from Louisiana where, we must assume, she's seen some shtuff. She came in labeled as a Catahoula leopard dog mix - do you see it? We reckon there's more pit in the mix, but tell your landlord whatever - those pet rental fees are bogus anyway!

Coco is as handsome as he is playful, and his smoky eyes are on point to accentuate those cool baby blues! He's 11 months old and still figuring out some things, but that's what our training classes are all about. You might just have to sneak that harness on mid-belly rub!

You'll be doubly thankful this Thursday if you bring home AJ and Aly! These bonded kitties are not only beautiful, but also very affectionate. They came in last week and have still not found purrmanent accommodations, but we're sure there's a lap or two with their names on them.

Titan and Pretty share an affinity for long fall walks, gentle butt sniffing and stoic staring contests. They are both wonderful office companions, and Pretty likes spending time behind the adoption desk. We can't wait for these easygoing pibble pals to find their families for couch cuddles and big, wet kisses!

There's still time to adopt a wonderful family member before Thanksgiving!* There are nearly 40 dogs on campus ready to go home, including the sweet and not petite Minnie Mouse! We know many of them will be here on turkey day, and we'll be serving up another Thanksgiving dinner, so they can eat their feelings during the holiday just like so many of us will. And look, Minnie Mouse now has five legs!

*We'll be closed on Thursday but back at it again on Friday.

Titan spent his walk with Pretty teaching her how helpful never smiling is when trying to gain adoption interest. We think she's got the look and posture perfect, right down to the hooked tail. Also, doesn't Pretty's fur make you want an ice cream cone? Who cares that it's 48 degrees outside?

If you're expecting a house full of two- and four-legged guests this holiday season, make sure they all get their just desserts! There's still time to order pies for people and pups to benefit Seattle Humane, thanks to our friends at Lentsch Culinary Services and their Pies for Pups campaign. They are donating all of the proceeds for every pie sold now through Dec. 11 with a fundraising goal of $5,000. Pies can be picked up from their kitchen in Seattle’s S**o district or delivered to your door. You can also pick up a pie-loving pup like Iggy here at Seattle Humane!

That bomb cyclone may have knocked out our power, but we kept the lights on and doors open to complete 106 adoptions last week! We are so happy so many pets found their families during this literal dark period in our region, and we're sure they're warming up their people as the temps dip and the land continues to soggy.

Rufus doesn't always take toys on walks with him, but when he does he's usually the only one that makes it back! His burying skills are somewhat lacking, so it isn't too hard recovering those dirty stuffies. What's more dirty is how Rufus has been here for almost two weeks! Come get one of the bestest boys around, ya dig?

Titan is an easygoing pittie boy who has been waiting for his family here at Seattle Humane for more than a month now. He's a very sweet guy who needed a little kennel break recently. Our behavior team opened up their office to him for a nice, chill day. We think this good boy deserves nothing but chill days, so please pay him a visit today!

Sam spent his entire life with the same family, but they were unfortunately unable to keep him due to a housing issue, and he was surrendered to Seattle Humane back in August. A gentle giant, Sam’s positive history with other dogs, cats and children made him quite a fetching fella, and he was able to find his new family in just 10 days. Three months later, and Sam continues to bring love and joy into their lives.
“Sammy is the most perfect dog and a wonderful addition to our little family!” his mom says. “Everyone who meets him says how sweet he is. He loves to lean on people and receive pets, as well as play with every dog he meets! He’s the most well-behaved dog I’ve ever had who came trained and accepts new training easily. He’s so polite and gentle to everyone he meets and just a constant beam of love and silliness!”
Sammy also finally won over the resident cat.
“Samwich and our cat, Parmesan, are finally warming up! They love cuddling with us on the couch!” his mom says. “He has been the perfect addition to our family!”

ADOPTED: Cute Clyde can be as cuddly as he'd like, now that he's been cleared of ringworm, a fussy fungal infection he had when he first arrived at Seattle Humane back in October. He was lucky enough to receive treatment in a loving foster home, but now he's back on campus and ready to find his family. His foster report says he loves to play fetch, do a little supervised digging, chew his squeaky toys and a good power nap after all his zoomies. Clyde is very good about letting you know when he needs to go outside and did well spending alone time in his crate. Like all 4-month-old pups, Clyde will benefit from ongoing training, which will go a long way for this super-smart boy!

Tatsu is very smart, affectionate and just a lovely, floofy boy. He can sit, shake, lie down and more, but some days it sure feels like going through the motions. He's been looking for the right family off and on since May, and was returned a month ago due to a housing issue. Some days are better than others, and usually a good play date with one of his doggo friends helps perk up this sweet pupper. Tatsu has shown you what he can do, and now you can show him some love and share this good boy in the hopes of finally getting him home!

Also, ask an adoption advisor for more information about this good boy. Don't be a Muppet!

On top of keeping the lights on, we are also experiencing some technical difficulties with our website and these cuties in Dorm 9 are not showing up. They just arrived on a Lifesaver Rescue transfer out of Texas and are suffering from a cuddles deficit. Please help us remedy this terrible injustice!
