Sometimes it takes the pretty boys a little longer to figure it all out. Throw in a name like Ashton? Forget about it! A playful pup at heart, Ashton is looking for a second chance at love here at Seattle Humane. This sweet lab is still learning the ropes, which he loves to fling around the yard, and just needs a patient family to keep up his training. He has a positive history with other dogs, and would likely benefit from a good boy or girl to give him a crash course on manners.
It's time to let the Moose loose! This cuddly fella came to us from Feisty Felines in Lewis County earlier this month. Our amazing vets successfully removed a malignant tumor from his back and do not expect it to return, but it will be good for Moose's new family and vet to keep an eye out in the future. Aside from needing a home and to grow some fur back, Moose is feline fine!
Pomona is one cute pupper, and she certainly seems to know it! She came to us from our friends at Regional Animal Services of King County, where she'd been since mid-January. She loves to go on walks and play fetch, and eventually she'll give you the ball. Pomona also likes playing with other dogs - she can be a little bossy, but some dogs are into that. Zig-zag down to Seattle Humane and meet Pomona today!
As painful as it is to admit, not every dog is a fan of Social Media Guy! Newman is one tough customer and appears to fancy himself a ladies dog. He does enjoy other dogs, including his buddy, Bodhi. Watch this video and imagine him having an even better time without SMG there.

It seems to get colder and colder outside while Junior just keeps warming up! He can't wait to do zoomies in the yard before getting harnessed for a lovely walk on our frozen trails. Junior loves to stop and check in with you for a couple pets along the way. Worried about your energy bill? Junior makes the best lap warmer! Saying goodbye is the hardest part, but hopefully the next time we do it will be when he's hopping into the car with his new family!
Marshall has a lot going on for him - he loves other dogs, has a positive history with cats and kids and he's as smart as he is handsome! Unfortunately, a change in housing circumstances resulted in this young fella being back here at Seattle Humane. Let's marshal our Rescue Squad to find Marshall his new family today!
Harold was a little puppy when he came to us from Whatcome Humane last September. He was adopted the very next day! We recently welcomed him back, after he was found laying outside an elementary school in Snohomish. Still very playful and affectionate, Harold is getting back out there and looking for love. We don't always know why a pet is abandoned, but we're here to help them when they need a second (or even third) chance!
Fia is still looking for her happy valentine! Sweet, cuddly and adventurous, any family would be lucky to have her heart. She's been waiting so long to go home, so pay her a visit if you're looking for a lovely pupper to be your one and only!
Despite the weather, Junior has been warming up at Seattle Humane since arriving here last month. The more time he spends with people, the less happy he is to say goodbye. He loves to cuddle, go on walks and could do well in a home with a confident canine in the home - he used to live with two! Give this big boy a little time and you'll see that pittie smile shine through.
While the snow on our walking trails is almost gone, Nori is still here! This good boy loves a good game of fetch in any weather, and he does so well on his walkies. Nori is 5 and looking for a home where he can thrive. He lived with another dog previously, but he wasn't always great about sharing, which doesn't mean he couldn't have a few doggo friends in the future, provided they don't brunch together. If you sashimi, Nori should roll out of here soon! Come see wasabi with this pupper today!
Rose and Lavender are two bonded buns who are quite enjoying not having to deal with this winter weather, and we're very happy they don't require regular walks - imagine how hard they'd be to see in all this snow! These lovely ladies came to us from The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, where they spent some time doing the education circuit, so they are very kid-savvy. While they might enjoy petting, we can't stress enough that they do not want to be pulled out of a magician's hat. Hop down to Seattle Humane for some bonded, beautiful buns!
