Many years ago my fiancé and I came across the Black Russian Terrier breed. We spent a few years researching about the breed, learning about different blood lines, and narrowing down the breeders we wanted to get a puppy from. Finally back in 2013 our dreams came true and we welcomed home a precious puppy, Blake (Zoran Blake iz Chigasovo). He came to us directly from Russia and resembled everythin
g we have read and fell in love with about this breed. Two years later, after we got even more convinced that BRTs are the perfect dogs for us, we added a girl, Mika, to our pack and couldn’t have been happier ever since. Mika (Chereshenka ot Zentsa Oka) was imported from Russia as well. Our dogs are part of our family and we treat them as such. Over the years we have done tons of research about diets, supplements, vaccination, physical exercise, shows, etc and as we learned more, we adjusted our routines. While by no means we are claiming we know everything, we would like to share our experience and approach when it comes to caring and handing BRTs on this page. We are an active family and since we spend most of our free time together, our dogs are very active as well, so we will be sharing a lot of pictures from our adventures.
