Whisking Woodworks is a Pacific Northwest-based studio dedicated to the design and production of fine furniture for furry friends. All of our products are:

1) Made from kiln-dried pine boards that are milled in-house prior to production.
2) Held together with a non-toxic, water-based wood glue to guarantee that your furnishings will be enjoyed for as long as possible.
3) Meticulously finished to

ensure that the entire surface area of each product is chewable, lounge-able, and leap-off-able.

Happy New Year (are people still saying this?) and I hope this post finds you all as healthy and well as can be.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything aside from the wonderful photos our incredible customers have shared with us. Today, I’m sharing some bittersweet news.

After 7 years of having a blast getting to know and learning from you all, I’ve made the difficult decision to “close” Whisking Woodworks. I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for receiving my love for chinchillas and woodworking with all the love and support over the years. There is something really special about the small animal/exotic/bird community—the chinchilla folks in particular (sorry, I’m biased, obvs). Thank for helping me realize a dream in which two of my favourite things in life could come together to bring you and your furry and feathered friends comfort and joy. ❤️

As we have some time before our shop will be going on hiatus for an indefinite length of time, I will still be taking orders until January 31st, so get your orders in! I have hay feeders, hexagonal tunnels, and some other goodies pre-made, so can ship those out immediately.
