1 week post op today and these two have made sure I’ve been feeling the love . One more week until my post op follow up and I move onto phase 2 of recovery.

It was glorious outside today , we got jinora and bunny making their way around. The two landseer baby Argos now 7 months coming to say hi to his momma and liberty doing whatever it is that little Sammy does . I’m 6 days post op , and it’s nice to step outside and get some fresh air .

Autumn is the time of year where we begin to slow down and rest . Bears and other wildlife are starting to settle in for the winter , and the energetic shift is no different for us .

Right now is the first time since April I have had only my own dogs in my house. We’ve recently had deaths in our family , along hospitalizations , other things coming up at school , and doctors upon doctors appointments for myself and my kids . To say I am tired and ready for some rest and to slow down for a bit would be an understatement.

October 30th I go in for surgery that will have me down for a few weeks . At home we are currently prepping for that and the changes that will happen here in our normal day to day lives until I’m healed enough to get back to normal .

My posting will be slim to none for a bit once I’ve had my surgery . but know it’s just a brief hibernation while my body heals then I’ll be right back to our regular shenanigans!!!

So , I’m only going to do this once for the sake of transparency. This will not be an open discussion or an invitation for hateful comments and snide remarks , this is specifically for those of you who need to know … in hopes of making sure that whomever contacts me knows my position on these matters. And can make their choice of wether or not they still feel comfortable in establishing an breeder/puppy family relationship

I just read a post in a group where a person was feeling deeply troubled once they had found out their breeders political position . They had already put their non-refundable deposit down . They did their research. This breeder is of merit , and did good for the breed . However later they discovered their values didn’t align , not even close . They felt stuck . They were going to lose their money . … Or get the dog and feel really icky about supporting a business who was so hard against what they believed in and in result have zero relationship with the breeder of their puppy ……

A breeder and their puppy families are for life . I will always be available for my families. And it is crucial that we be able to have a good standing relationship of some kind . Because as I said already I will always be available for my families….
I never want anyone to be uncomfortable or upset at the thought of communicating with me about their dog over personal views and politics. .

we live in a time where people live vastly different lifestyles and that’s OKAY . People have different views different values , and thats OKAY … but sometimes they are so out of alignment with someone else that it can definitely interfere with sustaining any kind of relationship. And I will never try to force a bond that just can’t happen . Been there , done that . I’m not interested in it …. So , out on the table here are my cards …

I am pro-choice
I am lgbtq+ ally
I am Black Lives Matter
I am supportive of ALL of our minority community members
I support our indigenous communities
I am for rehabilitation over prison

I am also pro second amendment

I am neither democrat or republican
I think this whole thing is a mess and my hopes for us as a nation is to be able to come out the other side of the next 4 years , whomever is elected … closer and loving thy neighbors again . Cause I for one am SICK to death of all the hate .

Hey all !! We are Currently beginning to accept inquires for Willow 🫶
This sweet momma is retiring and would LOVE nothing more than to have her very own people that she can soak up all the attention from , Willow knows all her basic commands , carts , and absolutely loves everything to do with the water , she is the best with kids and would do best with a family with some kiddos however She can be a bit silly and not so aware of her size so I wouldn’t recommend her for anyone with mobility issues as she will bump your legs , Willow would do best in a house one her own or with another male dog or possibly female Willow just likes to be the boss so she’d be best in a home where another girl wouldn’t steal her shine lol . Jinora has not had her heart posted to OFA due to a discrepancy with her microchip at time of echo , I had a new one put in and hopefully soon I’ll be able to get that all squared away ! Long story short , pleased as pie with Jinoras results and looking forward to planning her first litter 🫶
