Happy Monday y'all! 💕 Gosh what an amazing week in our little corner of the rescue world! A huge shout out to the Burlington Petsmart for having us this weekend for a 2 day adoption event! We apologize for not getting our lounge line up post done this week. Between the storm and our fearless leader being sick, it never got done, but we promise that this week it will be there!

🥳Congrats to Simon, Owen, Charlie Brown/Oreo, Casper, Lowry, Echo, Mama Mia, Raja and Major on finding their families and heading off to their happily ever after!!! Grover will be headed home afyer his neuter! ♥️🐶

Hey hey Lounge crew!!! We will be closed tomorrow, Feb 6th, 2025, due to the overnight snow! We will resume normal business hours Friday, Feb7th, 2025 unless otherwise posted!

We have made the executive decision to close for the day due to the snow that is predicted to go through the night. Our top priority is the health and safety of our puppies and staff. We do not want to risk the safety of our Staff, transporters or puppies if this storm decides to go longer than expected since they are brought up from Burlington daily! We will be open normal business hours on Friday unless otherwise posted. Stay safe, friends!

Happy Tuesday y'all! 💕 We hope you all are staying warm and safe as Mother Nature does her thing! We apologize for not getting last weeks post up, the week was a little wacky so here's our update for the last 2 weeks!

We had an AMAZING WEEK in Rescue this week, Grumpy our long stay pup has finally found an AMAZING and PATIENT couple of humans to give him the best forever home!! 🥰 He is doing sooo well settling in and we are beyond excited!🎉🎉

🥳ALSO a Big Congrats to Nellie, Charles, Rocket, Jeb and Hester on finding their families and heading off to their happily ever after!!! ♥️🐶 And sweet little fluffy Erna has an adopter lined up later this week after her spay appointment as well!

✨️🐾 Foster Pup-Date! - Pearl 🐾✨️

Pearl is still looking for her forever home since Sept!

A message from her foster:
"Your dog’s new best friend and your new cuddle buddy. She has such a skill for quickly adapting to the social style of any dog. She’ll wrestle with dogs twice her size if that’s what they want, and she’s just as happy to hang out and snuggle.

If you’ve ever considered adopting a second dog to keep yours company, Pearl is the perfect addition to your family and capture your heart immediately.

She’s a social butterfly, inquisitive about everything and everyone. She’s loves to run, cuddle, chew toys, learn tricks, play, and watch tv."

✅️ Compact size of 25lbs
✅️ Great in the car

Pearl is 9 months old pittie mix and has grown into the perfect pup! Her and her litter mates where at risk of Euthanasia in Bakerfeild before BWC pulled them! Pearls story goes a little deeper though. In Sept, she had a freak accident at the lounge resulting in a broken leg! As you can see, I has since healed and she's doing amazing!

If your interested in meeting Pearl please put in an adoption application, and we will set up a time. An adoption application and meet and greet is free and we understand that after meeting her, you may deside shes not for you, which is perfectly fine. Feel free to ask questions as well!

Mama Dimond, the mama of our 3 boys the last few weeks, Jack, Ace and king. Come in and meet her, she's absolutly perfect!

We got some donations in today that included some new beds, treats and toys. In the mix was this gem! I think it's a hit and Dottie of course hoarded it ♥️🐶🐾 I think it was a hit. Our deepest sympathy to the donator on the loss of their beloved fur baby, your donations will be put to good use here and we absolutly apriciate it.

Happy independance day from our rescue family to yours!!! Please have a safe night, remember to drink your water as we head into.the heat advisory and keep your pets safe! Fireworks can be scary to our furbabies so be sure they are safe through the festivities over the next few days!!!! Photographed is Remy, a 2 year old pup who was returned due to no fault of his own, he's searching for his forever still.

Little Christina is the last of her litter and she doesn't seem bothered as long as she has a rope! Christina is a 4 month old Heeler/aussie mix who gives the cutest "cheese" smiles when she's excited to see you! She is a little timid at first but so worth the time to get to know her!
