Was playing engagement games with Pickles when a coyote crossed our path. Pickles initially responded by barking and pullings towards it but then reengaged with me and beautifully shook it off. It followed us and sat and watched us as we as we made our way back to the car.

So close to freedom. We're still alternating between a sock and a cone, depending on his mood and my monitoring ability. He seems to prefer the cone right now, which slows him down, but he can still get to his foot.
