Good morning egg customers,

We have some amazing grass-fed organically-raised (though not organically certified) lean hamburger for sale. It has been USDA-approved so can be sold in individual 1-lb packages instead of having to purchase an entire quarter or half animal. The USDA certification also makes it twice as expensive as purchasing in bulk, but that's life. $6 per 1-lb, individually vacuum-sealed package. Frozen. Message or text me to arrange pick-up. 360-224-six one three zero. Also, if you're interested in purchasing in bulk, we will be butchering two more cattle in December. Thanks!

Dear egg customers, we are COMPLETELY OUT of egg cartons! If you have a load of reasonably clean egg cartons cluttering up your kitchen, feel free to drop them off anywhere inside the egg shack. We'd sure appreciate it!

The "girls" are laying again! Egg availability is still a bit limited, but it should pick up soon. We'll put the "fresh eggs" sign out when there are eggs in the fridge. In addition, we are in the process of getting breeding pens set up and will soon be selling fertile hatching eggs and chicks.

Yup it's that time of year again... Dark and dreary with waning daylight. Our birds haven't been laying enough eggs to sell so the egg shack has been empty. We'll update when they start laying again.

Our oyster mushrooms are now USDA Certified Organic! $4.50 for 1/2 lb, $8 for 1 lb, $32 for a 5-lb case. Post a reply or message me if interested.

Apologies to our egg customers, but we are raising the price of our eggs to $5 per dozen. We preserve rare and heritage chicken breeds that do not convert feed into eggs nearly as efficiently as commercial egg laying breeds. That coupled with the steadily rising price of feed has necessitated this change in order to help cover our costs. We hope you will continue to buy our eggs and help support our endeavors!
