Thank you, weather gods! The third Howl-o-Ween Downtown Dog Parade went off without a hitch!
Awesome dogs and humans, great music by the Mighthy Bayou Opossums, Shadow's Forever Friends, Whispering X Dog Training, Nessa's Pastries, and of course Shakd & Shine's 10-year anniversary.

It amazes me so much: Today, October 14, in 2014, the doors of Shake & Shine opened for the first time. Ten years ago! I've been blessed with the most amazing customers, and I'm honored that you entrust your dogs to our store in one way or another.

I have learned a lot in that time from the dogs, the humans, and of course, my amazing staff. Nothing would be possible without the young women and men that work for me and have worked for me.

We're going to celebrate this week with pup cups for everybody and little tuille bows for your dogs' collars. And of course, at the Downtown Dog Parade on 10/27. Check it out on our website
