Our team transported 18 community cats for surgery this morning. These cats were trapped by our team as well as other local trappers and another rescue this past weekend 😻

NEW BABIES 💜

We’re trying to limit intakes while we’re moving but the cats didn’t get that memo 😅

We just got these three vaccinated, flea treated and dewormed and off to foster.
Our team is working to get the other four kittens- so yes that’s 7 kittens total 🤯 as well as their mom asap.

All of the kitten will go to foster homes until they’re adoption ready in a few weeks and mom will be spayed and returned to her outdoor home.

SECURITY UPDATE 💜

The new property is now fully covered security wise thanks to ADT!
Security was a top priority for us before we even fully move in because of the location of this property and the lives that will be here.
This is right on a main road with a lot of visibility which is great but also comes with its security risks.
We want to make sure everyone here is safe at all times.

So this was a large but extremely necessary expense.
The total came to $3,644. We’ve raised $945 towards that so far but really need this fully covered so we can keep doing the needed updates to get this building fully operational 💜

HELP US SECURE THE BUILDING ‼️

We know we’ve already asked for so much but this is another large expense but incredibly needed.
We have a security company here today installing a security system including cameras, new keypads and sensors for the windows.

This property is right on the main road and we need to have this in order to protect us and the cats.
We already had one person off the street walk in to the home side today. So this is incredibly important.

We freaking did it!!

CCC HQ and eventual adoption lounge is now ours 😭💜

Years of dreaming for this and saving cats, months of hustling to make this happen and it really happened 🥹

So many people made this happen.
💜 Our incredible supporters and donors especially our amazing donor who donated $100,000 to make this happen.
💜 My amazing parents for helping this happen but also for supporting me for YEARS and letting me operate the rescue and save thousands of lives form their house for the last 5+ years 😅
💜 My amazing fiancé, Robert, for supporting me all these years through the ups and downs and countless tear filled nights. And now the purchase of home together for us and all the cats.

Leo was adopted from us in 2023 and unfortunately just escaped his home in Haddonfield, NJ on Hawthorne Ave.

Please keep an eye out for him and if you’re in the area please check under sheds, in garages, in bushes- anywhere a cat may hide if he’s scared.

Please keep us posted if you see him!

His family is doing everything they can to find him. He’s a sweet boy but may be nervous outside.

UPDATE 💜

Keep an eye out next week for updates on needs because we will be needing lots of help and supplies!

Also please keep in mind that as we are moving our entire lives and operation we will be drastically reducing our intakes for now as well as scaling back on TNR and outreach assistance.

Sweet boy Barry was the best guy at the vet yesterday 💜 We got his results back today and as suspected he has hyperthyroid that has likely been untreated for a long time. A normal level is about 5 and Barry’s levels are at 20 right now 🙀 We’re going to start him on meds right away and will be closely monitoring him. His vet feels that he may also have underlying kidney disease as well so we will recheck all of his levels in about a month. We’re so sad this guy has been living outside like this for so long but we’re happy he made his way here to us where we’ll give him the best care 💜 Barry is also in need of a foster home! Please send us a message if you’re interested. His care so far has cost us $283 and we’ve raised $120 so far. Luca has been released from the hospital!! He had a three day stay at Delaware Valley Vet Hospital and is feeling so much better! His bloodwork has improved so much and he’s back to his happy self and ready to eat all the food again 🥰 Since he did test positive for panleukopenia we’re still being cautious and keeping him separate from any other animals. His bill came to just over $1,700 😭 Please consider donating today so we can cover this large bill. We currently still owe this vet close to $3,000 now and another vet over $2,000. Tang is the first cat we pulled out of small hoarding situation we’re assisting with. She was hospitalized for a few days but is back home in foster care now getting lots of TLC. Petsmart National Adoption Weekend!!

Back in April we were awarded a grant from Mission Meow to cover the purchase of brand new traps and trapping supplies! The $5,500 grant covered the purchase of 30 new Tomahawk Live-Trap Gravity Traps, 2 new drop traps, 7 feral cat dens, 5 transfer cages and 5 new trap dividers (forks) as well as a new net! These new supplies are going to be help us save so many more lives! We’re going to be able to plan more large trapping events and even lend out traps to the community 💜 We are truly so thankful to Mission Meow for believing in our organization and getting us the funding to make this possible 😻 #spayandneuter #communitycats #adoptdontshop #catsofinstagram
