Sycamore 🧡

This poor guy is so badly matted 💔
We were able to shave out a good amount of them yesterday and will keep working to get the rest shaved. He will likely just get a full lions cut when he goes back to the vet.

This poor is so sweet though and was such a good sport for his little grooming session.
He also obviously got lots of INABA Premium Cat & Dog Treats churus 🥰

We’ve raised $240 towards his $590 vet bill so far so please keep donating if you can! We also plan to bring him back to the veg Monday so they can close his deep wound on his leg so that will be another couple hundred dollars.

We’re so thankful Cindy’s Camden Cats got this guy off the streets. He was clearly not thriving outside.

FOUND CAT ‼️

Found on Barr Drive in Barrington, NJ.

Neutered male, appears older, very thin. No microchip found.

This guy has been coming to a colony cared for by Barrington TNR for a bit now.
They were able to secure him in a carrier today and brought him to us.
They also checked with neighbors first but no luck on an a home.

Please let us know if you have any information on this guys home.

We will be holding him for the mandatory 7 day stray hold and will be getting him evaluated by a vet.

Meet Sycamore 🧡

This handsome guy came to us Monday from Cindy’s Camden Cats.
He was doing very well up until last night and into this morning.
He was acting off today- lethargic, not eating and vomited a decent amount.

Luckily we were able to squeeze him in at Delaware Valley Vet for an exam.
He’s thankfully panleukopenia negative and bloodwork looks pretty good so we’re starting with supportive care and a few medications and will be closely monitoring him.

We also found a pretty decent size wound on his back thigh that the spay/neuter clinic unfortunately didn’t notate on his records.
So we’re also keeping a close eye on that.
Sycamore is also pretty matted so our team will be shaving him the best we can- we’re not groomers 😅

We just want this sweet guy to feel better so we can start looking for his new family 💜

Update on Grandma 💔
We made the decision to humanely euthanize her.
After her exam it was clear this lady had a lot going on that was making her uncomfortable. Including a mouth full of suspicious likely cancerous masses.

We’re thankful to her trapper and foster for giving an amazing last month where she was inside, cozy and loved. 💜

We made the decision to humanely euthanize her.

Grandma cat is one of the 50+ cats we’ve assisted at a large colony locally.

We honestly aren’t sure how old she is but she’s already been through a lot. She was trapped and spayed at a local clinic where she had to be almost fully shaved because of how matted she was, she also had some masses removed from her mouth.

She’s improved some but is still not feeling the best so she’s going to Delaware Valley Vet Hospital today for a sedated exam so they can fully check her mouth, do bloodwork and check her out fully.
*Grandma is still not the most handleable but is improving slowly socially in foster care*

Aubbie is in foster care recovering after his dental yesterday 💜

His bill was a little higher than we expected because he did have a lot more going on in his mouth than we knew about.
We also did a full senior panel bloodwork to check all his levels.

Aubbie was already missing most of his teeth and had to get the rest removed. He also needed some roots surgically extracted.
He also had some pretty bad stomatitis.
But now he’s a cute toothless senior man and we’re sure he feels sooo much better now 💜

His dental came to $1,026.94. We’ve only raised $20 towards this far so we please consider donating today.
We can’t continue giving our cats the best care possible without your support.

in addition to your standard favorites from years past (food, refreshments, raffles, kitten cuddles), new to this years shower will be various educational workshops! we’ll demonstrate neonatal kitten care and trap-neuter-return, in addition to other topics that we hope will help newcomers to the rescue world to find an area of work that calls to them!

This ~12 year old guy came to us a a few weeks ago when his caretaker moved and couldn’t take home.
He has some bad dental disease so is getting a much needed dental today!

An awesome double adoption to close out of our Monday 😻

Connor and Kyle went home together from our Brooklawn Petco adoption center.
We pulled these two a few weeks ago from one of our shelter partners and are so happy we could find them a great home together!!
