🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the crew at Muddy Paws Dog Wash!

We want to share some firework pet safety tips to keep your pets safe during the celebrations 👇

☆ KEEP PETS INDOORS: Don't bring your pets outside during the fireworks! Loud pops and booms could easily startle your pet and cause them to run away.

☆ PROVIDE A QUIET PLACE: Prepare a place for your pet such as a quiet room or pet crate to help them feel secure.

☆ GIVE THEM DISTRACTIONS- TOYS, TREATS, SOOTHING MUSIC: Treat toys such as kongs filled with their favorite food may help keep their minds busy and distract them from the fireworks.

☆ MICROCHIP AND ID YOUR PETS: Your pets should always wear proper identification tags, with up-to-date contact information. Microchipping is also strongly recommended and make sure that information is up-to-date too.

☆ WALK YOUR DOG EARLY IN THE DAY: Some pets may be too frightened to go out once the fireworks are popping and this will be a good way to tire them out so that they can rest better later.

We hope these tips help keep your pets calm and safe during the firework celebrations and we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th! 🎆🐶

🐾 Muddy Paws Dog Wash has officially been open for over ONE YEAR! ☝️

🫧 When we first started, we were unsure how business would be with this new idea of a private dog wash that we haven't seen before, but we have been happily surprised with the growth that we have seen this past year and we are so excited to see what this next year will bring. 🐶

With that being said, we have decided to pick TWO WINNERS and MAKE A DONATION to Lincoln County Humane Society, Wisconsin for our ONE YEAR DRAWING!
