KM Dressage is expanding its lesson program! I am now offering lessons on my 14 yr old Oldenburg mare Fiji. Fiji is a 3rd/4rg level schoolmaster, with an incredible show record through 3rd level with consistent scores in the high 60s and low 70s with 2 trips to KY for nationals. I have owned and trained Fiji since I imported her 10 years ago. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who doesn’t have the means to purchase a well trained horse and who wants to learn dressage, improve their knowledge of the sport, learn correctness of the aids and movements and overall just have fun! This is an opportunity with a lot of advancement including options for half/full leases, showing opportunities and much more. We had a wonderful day yesterday at the barn with ! Connie and Chris are absolutely amazing and I am so lucky to be able to work with them and have them continue to help me, my horses and my clients and their horses! New saddles were purchased and current saddles refitted and reflocked. As always, such an informative and helpful day and helping make sure our horses are comfortable and able to perform to the best of their ability! It’s always so amazing to see how the horses change and move in properly fitted saddles for them. I am so excited to see how they progress in their training! Thank you for your continued support! Day one of the bluebonnet classic is a wrap! I am so incredibly proud of all 3 horses. My lovely boy wasn’t feeling himself this morning and we had some unfortunate mishaps but some very nice moment in his first I1. Jody’s Flight Cash (Cash) took on his first ever dressage show and absolutely rocked it earning 2 mid 60s in his training level and 1st level classes and a 2nd and 3rd place and Amy’s Eye Candy (Godiva) earned a 70% and a 67.4 in her 1st and 2nd level tests and her first recognized dressage show earning 2 1st places and high point open champion. I am so over the moon happy and ready for day 2! Thank you to my amazing clients for all your help and hard work and for trusting me with your amazing horses! Bella came back into work 6 months ago after having 3 years off due to her owners pregnancy and raising her son. Bella has 3 correct, quality gaits and is very comfortable to ride. She offers a correct and soft connection in the hands. She is a very fast learner who is always very willing and eager to please. She’s a very sweet and personable mare who really trusts her person and looks to them for guidance and trust, once you earn this mares trust she will do anything for you. Unicorn 🦄 search!
Looking for an easy going schoolmaster type teacher to teach an older, more timid AA rider the ropes of correct dressage! Must be at least confirmed 2nd level, bonus points if horse already has a change. Looking for something at least 8-10 yrs old or older. Warmblood or PRE, will look at the right cross breeds or non traditional breeds but no thoroughbreds please. Doesn’t have to have huge, head turning movement but must be easier to ride with comfortable gaits. Must be willing to take a joke, no naughty or funny business. We need a great confident builder, who will take care of his rider. Only looking for geldings at this time and nothing bigger than 17hh. Big bonus if horse is located on the east coast, but willing to travel anywhere for the right horse. Preferably in the US at this time but will consider importing for the perfect forever partner. Gorgeous 17.2 hh imported branded grey Oldenburg mare. “Fiji” is a 2010 mare 3rd level schoolmaster by Furst Romancier x Caprimond. Fiji is as safe and sweet as they come. Would make a great mount for a AA or Jr/Yr looking to work on their bronze medal or just looking to learn the ropes of lower level dressage. Fiji is very forward thinking without being unsafe. Fiji is the same horse away from home as she is at home. Great for the farrier, vet, trailering. I absolutely love this horse and this is a very hard decision but I’m looking for something to bring up the levels and she seems happier working the lower levels. Fiji has been shown since I’ve owned her as a 4 yr old, she has consistent scores in the 70s at training, 1st and 2nd level and a few scores in the 60s at 3rd level. Fiji does require some basic maintenance and some corrective shoeing but she is sound to ride. She’s an absolute lover, never acts “mareish”. She’s turned out with my gelding and has also been turned out with other mares and is great with either. Located in Belton, TX. Priced in the mid 5s.

Back home after yet another successful weekend in Katy! So much improvement from 2 weeks ago. So proud of my boy and how far we’ve come just after 2 shows together. Started the show off winning our 4-1 with a 66.3% and ended the show today winning our PSG with a 66.765 after having a very tough PSG yesterday afternoon with many issues. So excited to continue working towards many more goals with my amazing boy! Huge thank you to all of amazing sponsors and support group! Y’all are amazing! Now for a goodnight sleep and then off California tomorrow! .w

Back home after a extremely fun and successful show weekend with my amazing boy! We had tons of fun, learned a lot about each other and made some huge improvements from Saturday to Sunday. Baldur decided to add in his own “movements” which aren’t required in PSG or 4th level which resulted in a few 1s and 2s for scores but made up for it with a 9 for a canter pirouette in our PSG and an 8 on gaits and 8s for rider in our 4-1. So excited for the future with my amazing dance partner! So grateful to all my amazing sponsors and supporters for the continued support! Feeling very happy and blessed to be back in the ring after 4 years off from showing! “The comeback is always greater then the setback.” .w

Distancer (Tenerife VDL x Park Ridge Lobell) is a wonderful dark chestnut mare of 15 years old, standing at 17.1hh (1,76m)

Distancer has competed up to 4th level and is now working towards PSG. Despite her size, Distancer has very easy and comfortable gaits. She gives a great feeling under the saddle and she's a lot of fun to work with!
Distancer doesn't show any nasty habits under the saddle.
Distancer would be an amazing schoolmaster for an advanced amateur who wants to work their way up through the levels!

Distancer is very easy to handle at all times.
