Mocha at Lowe’s!

Mocha came to us an extremely hyper girl! She’s not been the easiest dog for me to “get in her mind.” She was very “distant” on one of her last walks with me, and nothing I said or did seemed to matter.

Being in a dog’s a mind and feeling like I’m reaching them is very necessary for training.

I’m very happy to say this entire trip Lowes I have been able to be in her mind and she has been one percent with me body and mind.

I love this dog!

Murphy is amazing Goldendoodle, who came to us definitely needing a little work :-) he was a heavy dominant player in the yard with the other dogs. And just like most other dogs, he needed basic obedience, leash, work and manners! What an amazing animal ❤️

This is Lottie’s first time at any store. She generally likes to pull her owners a little bit on the leash. This whole segment is on showing Audrey And Lewis how to get in her mind and be fully engaged with her so they are the most interesting interesting things to Lottie.! She’s a very sweet little French bulldog :-) and they’re a great couple! And between the three of them, definitely get things figured out with our assistance!

Indy and Mavis’ follow up lesson went great! They are still their cute and playful self, but doing much better on all things!

The chest wrap technique is an amazing tool to replace the harness or just having your dog on his or her normal collar. The problem with the harness is most dogs can slip out of them. The problem with the flat/traditional collar is, it puts too much pressure on the neck! Once you learn this technique, it only takes a few seconds and your dog can’t slip out of it and it takes most of the pressure off of the neck! :-) I always use at least a 10 foot leash that I buy directly on Amazon. I like this leash in the video because it’s got a small clasp which keeps the leash firmly around the chest. The only downside is sometimes the clasp comes open and you have to redo the chest wrap. If you want to get rid of your harness on the walk and take the pressure off of your small dog’s please give us a try today! (**I always use this on dogs under 10 pounds. Anything over 15 pounds, we put on a Comfort Trainer head harness.)
