I have raised a variety of animals and I have enjoyed all the experiences. Alpacas are not as friendly as goats but the easiest to contain. Pigs are the hardest to move where you want them. I won't be breeding pigs anymore for that reason. They require too much time and patience. I have sold so many in this last month, I am now down to three left. They did a good job on clearing most of the land I put them on. It will be sad to see them go, might raise a feeder every once in a while.

I love what I do. Raising animals I'm able to learn about other cultures. Thanks to a family from Kenya they gave me gifts when they came to butcher a pig today.

I have been working with my goats and one of my first time moms has been pretty good for this first time milker. She does prefer me just to milk her right side for some reason 🤣

This girl will be available for a new home in five weeks. Her personality is awesome. She is sweet, loves hanging out with the dogs. She let's me pick her up and stays still for me to pet her. I've been milking her mom her supply is nothing amazing but she is awesome on the stand.

Bonnie had two piglets Wednesday 5/1. They got their iron shots yesterday and mom is doing awesome caring for them.

I've been getting my girls used to the milk stand. Sona and her daughter Janna have been the best, well besides my boy Veigar who is a love bug. Hopefully I can start selling goat milk soon. 😁

This girl is up and moving everywhere. She was from a first time mom (FF) named Vex who is mostly black. Love this girl's colors. Born really early this morning and already chasing after the dogs 😁

I have been downsizing to allow me to focus on family. This was my favorite girl and I gave her a new home. Miss you lots Soraka, hope you enjoy your new herd. Senna went with her so I'm glad they got to stick together!

It's that time of year. We got eight. Four boys and four girls. Two spotted boys and one ginger boy, rest cream. Ready for new homes in eight weeks. Will have more due soon!

Our goats escaped to our neighbor. Not surprised since we only had barbed wire. Lucky us we have nice neighbors. Instead of doing my own fence and taking all summer to get it done I hired someone and they got it up in two days. Definitely worth. Now I just need the fence to keep them in the back. Might build them a nice shelter before doing that.

Our first bottle baby will be going to a new home soon. Her sister might join her later. I am still amazed this girl pulled through. Going to miss the goat cuddles at night 😁

I enjoy watching baby goats play as I do dishes. I hope one day I will be able to use that milking stand but currently know that would cause too much stress in my busy life. Doing online schooling in hopes for an at home job so I can be with my daughter and animals more. Wish me luck!

How many baby goats this week? Four. And how many girls? Also four. Love the beautiful brown colors. Both moms doing good. The grey girl born on the 20th and the triplets born today. All good size.

How can someone not enjoy sitting with some pigs? Then I cleaned up the smallest boy from Soraka's triplets, wasn't getting some good licks from mom, she gots her hooves full 😁

Welcome three little baby goats, two boys and one girl. Soraka had more than I expected, will have to monitor for if they all getting enough milk.

We also got a Rex bunny named Jenny. Octavia loves feeding Jenny treats.

Say hello little girl. She arrived last night at around 8pm. 9/7/2023. Welcome to the farm. Senna, mom, was so big I thought she had more. I did a bump check and felt nothing so only one. Mom doesn't like me messing with her. Sorry mom.

Been some nice days. Hanging out on the pond and with all the animals. Sadly the ducklings went from 14 to 5. For future hatched ducklings we will keep the ducklings inside all day and night until they are bigger.

Well a duck went missing and she is now found. Along with 14 ducklings. Don't know where they went but welcome back.
