Being unique is a magical part of who I am.
One of my back legs is a special little leg but I am able to hop around easy.
My heart is gentle and kind.
I love a quiet atmosphere with long moments of belly rubs.

Imagine spending your whole life up to this point,
with your family. Then one day, you turn around and find yourself in the same place you were at as a little kitten….
That’s what happened to me. Thankfully my Help Humane family opened their arms back up to me without question.
For the first few weeks, I hid under my bed and let out little baby “meeps” hoping a family would pick me. I felt so much sadness but my Help Humane family kept bringing me treats, toys, and offering love.
Everyone says I give amazing hugs. 🤗
Recently, I have embraced playing. I found this butterfly toy that I can leap at or simply watch it flit around. Oh and there are these crinkly fluffy kick toys that I like to shake! Peacock feathers are my jam and yesterday I found this really cool bug toy.
All the fun things are really great but what my heart needs is a new family. My preference is to be the only pet, but I promise to love you with so much love, you will feel that I am enough.
I have lived on earth for 11 years. That makes me wise but also still knowing the importance of fun.
I love lap cuddles and light chat time.

Saturday snoozing! No party animals here…. That’s for sure!! 😉 Truth be told…. We sometimes get things called “Zoomies” but are totally appropriate lol.

🐾 Help Us Build Comfort Corners for Special Needs Cats 🐾
At our shelter, reducing stress for cats in our care is always a top priority—especially for those who may feel overwhelmed in a large community cat room. That’s why we’re hoping to create special Comfort Corners: quiet, cage-free spaces where sensitive cats can decompress, feel safe, and adjust at their own pace. 💛
As many of you know, Help Humane experienced a devastating fire at the end of October. Over the last couple months, we have been rebuilding and refreshing our shelter.
The room that was completely destroyed is now almost rebuilt. While our cats were in temporary placement, the idea of Comfort Corners was born!
Now, the timing is perfect to build these special
Spaces and is our last step in healing and moving on from the fire.
If funding allows, we would love to begin creating these comfort corners as early as next week.
Each comfort room requires:
• A 36” full glass entry door
• Solid lower walls (drywall, FRP, and base trim)
• Lattice top half of walls for airflow and visibility
• Furnishings and enrichment to make the space calm and welcoming.
We are seeking monetary donations to cover material costs and room contents so these cats can heal, relax, and start their journey with us in the best way possible.
Every donation—large or small—brings us closer to giving our cats the peaceful environment they deserve after everything they’ve been through. Thank you for standing by us, especially during this rebuilding time. ❤️

Do you feel like nobody outside of your rescue family fully understands you and how amazingly fabulous you truly are?
That what I wonder sometimes.
My name is Saffie Rose.
I have tried the perfectly posed pictures making my face as cute as can be…. But frankly, they don’t show off my exuberant personality.
I am a full figured girl with exceptional speed…
Ask the staff at Help Humane. When I escape my room I can make it all the way through the shelter
In like 2 seconds flat! Total record time if you ask me.
Self expression is a value I hold close
To my heart! I’m a talker and will share my opinion.
I do enjoy a good lap cuddle but my special cardboard boxes bring out this level of inner joy that is quite infectious. Throw some catnip and toys into the box with me…. Game on! I will easily capture them and show off my hunting abilities.
I would classify myself as a fun and entertaining cat…. But also a great companion to humans (other animals are not my preference).
If you want a no nonsense girl tabby who will be happy to provide companionship, laughter, deep and superficial talks, & an all around exuberance for life… I could be your girl.
