Black Heart is a horse/dog/cat/exotics rescue where all adoption fees and proceeds go towards paying for the animals welfare and vet bills.

These cats are all unvaccinated and unfixed and will be vaccinated and fixed (according to age) before being given to their adopter.

These are all: SHORT HAIR DOMESTIC and are not a special breed.

Each kitten is for adoption for $100 to cover their vaccines and $50 adoption fee. Momma is $150 to cover her vaccines and spay/neuter.
A deposit of $25 is welcome on each animal to claim them until they are old enough to be adopted and have had their vet care.

Would do best in a single dog - two dog home. She enjoys being the center of attention and would make a great pet for a mother or grandmother who just needs a good companion. Quiet dog, doesn’t bark much. She isn’t greatly potty trained but is smart and can pick it up quickly. Just a total sweetheart. Rescue/rehome for my boyfriends mother.

Salem was found as a 4 week old kitten dumped on the side of a back road. The owner of BHAR bottle fed, fostered and even adopted her. Salem is litter box trained and is a very active cat, who requires a patient owner.
Salem is a beloved family pet of the founder of BHAR but unfortunately does not fit into the household like she use to. Salem is in need of a new, larger home where she can be her best, hyperactive self.

Bear was found dumped at the Canton lake with mushroom poisoning and fear of people. Possibly an abusive past. He was very under weight.Bear is VERY protective and would make an amazing family guard dog. So protective that he sometimes will snap at our other dogs if he feels they are being too rough with us. Bear will need time to adjust to a new home and new people. He is still somewhat afraid.
Bear does best with women than he does men so would be better in a home where to woman is his owner or main caretaker.

UPDATE‼️
The owners current dog has become aggressive with MEEKO (his original name) they have asked me to take him in and try and find him a good home as they are worried about his safety. “Shasta” is an amazing dog, great with kids and other dogs of all sizes. He needs some obedience training and if you have cats he needs to be taught not to play so rough. For the dogs safety alone and for the owners reassurance there will be a rehoming fee of at least $25. Please if anyone is willing to bring this lovely animal into their home, he would make a great family dog

Owner found. Turns out MEEKO was stolen over a year ago from Forney TX and has officially been reunited with his family!!

Possible owner found, dog might have been stolen from Forney TX we will see how he responds to the given name and check his body for destinguished marks.
Male adolescent husky at the Moore’s store in BEN WHEELER TX camo collar NO TAGS
Estimated 1 year old. UNFIXED. He has had a deep clean bath, we offered him food but he doesn’t seem interested in kibble. Currently calling him “Shasta” as he had no name tag. Romping around with my dogs. And he doesn’t have the best obedience training.

My small house rescue works like any shelter would. He has 75 hours (3 days) and if his owner doesn’t claim him then I will be attempting to adopt him out. He is underweight and seems to be a house dog.
