Last weekend’s Fill Your Pantry event was nothing short of magical. The immense outpouring of support from our Central Oregon community reminded me again why this region is so special. Thousands of pounds of food found their way into local homes, just a short distance from the fields where these crops were freshly harvested. This event was more than just a market—it was a celebration of community-supported agriculture and the meaningful impact of local farms.

My only regret was being so busy the entire time that I didn’t get any awesome photos, and I missed the chance to catch up with more of my fellow farmers. Still, the hugs and words exchanged with friends, both new and old, will keep me warm and comforted through the long winter ahead. The community support was fuel in our fire to come back next year with an abundance of offerings for the shoppers—if we’re meant to attend again.

A special thank you to Megan from whose dedication and vision make the invaluable event it is. Megan, you’ve created something truly meaningful for all of us, and we’re beyond grateful and proud to be part of it. Here’s to Central Oregon farmers and everyone who supports us—together, we’re making a difference that goes far beyond just food. Thank you!

Supporting Local, One Dozen at a Time!

In a season full of challenges, we’re reminded every day why we love farming and sharing quality, pasture-raised food with you. Our eggs have become a staple for many, and we’re proud to be featured by food influencer as a local choice for fresh, flavorful eggs.

Despite our hurdles, the hens at the farm keep us going with their daily gifts—beautiful, nutritious eggs that we’re excited to bring straight to you.

$8 per Dozen – Order at bendfarms.com or message us directly to arrange pickup or delivery. Every purchase supports local farming and helps us keep the tradition alive. Delivery set for Sunday 11/3, Order cutoff Saturday 11/2 at 10PM.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for choosing local!

Hi friends! We wanted to share an important update about James and the state of the farm.

As some of you know, James recently suffered a serious knee infection that required surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well, but his recovery will take time. His knee is immobilized, and he’ll need several weeks of antibiotics and physical therapy to fully heal. We’re grateful for the amazing care he received and for all your well wishes.

Even with this setback, we’re pushing forward with relocating the farm to our new farm land and are hard at work with the following tasks:

-Preparing an area for our chickens at the new property
-Deconstructing and rebuilding our greenhouses
-Moving farm materials like drip irrigation, tables, and shelving
-Digging and potting up perennial plants (berries, herbs, asparagus, comfrey)
-Harvesting and relocating crops, T-posts and fencing removal after FYP over the next few weeks.

We need your help to make this happen! Please sign up for our work parties via the Signupgenius link on our GoFundMe page.
If the current time slots don’t align with your schedule, feel free to reach out—we may be able to accommodate other times.

We’ve shared the full story on our GoFundMe page. Click the link in our bio to read more and support us in rebuilding Cultivate Farms. 💚

Thank you for your continued support!

Hey everyone, it’s Maegen and James from Cultivate Farms. We are reaching out because we’re in the middle of something really tough, and we could use your support.

After years of building our farm from scratch, transforming what was once a barren patch of soil into a sustainable farm that feeds our community, we’ve hit a roadblock. Our land lease isn’t being renewed, and we’re now facing the challenge of having to relocate and rebuild everything by the end of November.

To make matters even more difficult, James recently injured his knee, making it impossible for him to help with many of the physical tasks we have ahead. This couldn’t have come at a worse time for us, but we’re doing everything we can to keep pushing forward.

We’ve set up a GoFundMe to raise the funds needed to make this move happen—and we’re asking for your help. Whether it’s through donating, sharing the campaign, or simply spreading the word, it all makes a huge difference.

Please click the link in our bio to read more about what we’re up against and how you can help us rebuild.

Thank you so much for any support you can give—we truly can’t do this without our amazing community. 💚
