🎃🐴 Halloween fun at the barn! 🐴🎃

A couple of our horses got into the spooky spirit this week — and they absolutely nailed their costumes! From artsy flair to farmyard fun, these two had everyone smiling. 👩‍🌾🎨

We love a little Halloween creativity around here (and so do the horses)! 👻💙

This weekend, our team recently took Artie, Javi, Pie, and Spider to a Cascade Cattle Club event for some cattle sorting fun! 🐄

It was the first time sorting for all the horses—except Spider—and they handled it like champs. Events like these are a great way to get our horses out, challenge their minds, and give them a fun change of pace. 💪🐴

Each ride kicks off at 10 AM at Faith Run Farms, home of StirrUp Purpose.

Project7120 offers a meaningful day of connection, reflection, and horsemanship designed especially for veterans and first responders.

🎃💀 Spooky Season on the Sensory Trail! 💀🎃

It’s officially Halloween at the barn! 👻 One of our instructors, Cindy, brought her love for Halloween to life by decorating the sensory trail with some new skeleton friends! From cowboys to creatures, her festive touch has added plenty of spooky fun for both horses and humans this season. 🐴💜

We are so excited to celebrate Marsha as our Volunteer of the Month! From beginners to experienced riders, she shines in every class she’s part of. With her wealth of equine knowledge (and plenty of riding wisdom, too!), she’s truly a gem in the barn. ✨🐴

Her consistent presence, reliability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make such a difference for our students, staff, and fellow volunteers. And let’s be honest—her smile can light up the whole arena! 💙

🏓 Tournament Rescheduled to March 14–15, 2026 – Save the Date!

Because of the lighter registration numbers for the September 27–28 dates, we’ve made the decision to reschedule the tournament to a time we believe will be even more fun and meaningful for everyone:

March 14–15, 2026 – St. Patrick’s Day Tournament

This move gives us the chance to create something even more special. March is a wonderful time for indoor winter play, and the St. Patrick’s Day theme promises to bring a festive spirit alongside great competition. It also gives us more time to strengthen our mission, to provide purpose and healing through meaningful equine experiences; while building stronger community support.

Here’s what you can look forward to in March:

*Fun, spirited play for all levels of pickleball players

*A Silent Auction with even more outstanding packages

*Expanded sponsorships to bring better awards and player perks

*A joyful, community-centered event where every game makes a difference

We’ll be sharing more details soon, but in the meantime, please know how grateful we are for your support. Together, we’re not just playing pickleball; we’re helping create opportunities for healing and purpose through the bond between people and horses.

🌟🐴Project 7120 Equine Day Retreats Are Here!🐴 🌟

With the completion of the final veteran and first-responder horse camp retreat of 2025, StirrUp Purpose is very excited to announce the launch of Project 7120's equine day retreats for our veteran and first-responder communities. The inaugural retreat will launch on Saturday, September 27 at 9 am-6 pm at the home of StirrUp Purpose at Faith Run Farms.

Each retreat will include:
*Pairing with your personal equine partner and unmounted horsemanship activities
*Mounted horsemanship activities on-site at StirrUp Purpose
*Hours of trail riding in Central Oregon forests, mountains, and rangeland
*Dinner and campfire conversation
