Jimi turns 9 this year. For his Birthday he got a dental and a cyst removed. The cyst would have eventually ruptured and been a mess so I opted to have it removed while it was small enough and wouldn’t pop here at home and gross everyone out. 🤣 Jimi has a UTI as well. Male dogs don’t normally show discomfort like females do so I’m glad we caught it. I am please to announce he still has all his teeth and they are in good shape for his age. 💜 February is dental month! We just got a head start. Senga and Silvie are next! 🦷

GVD or Bloat is a life threatening condition for large breed dogs. Standard Poodles included. Knowing what to look for can help save your dogs life. Also prophylactic gastropexy at the time of spay/neuter can help buy your pet time if Bloat occurs.

Many breeds and mixes are prone to bloat, especially if they have deep and narrow chests. Poodles being one of them.

I’m so proud of this gooberhead! Frank went winners dog yesterday for another point towards his championship. 5 more to go! But the fact he has the best table manners now just makes me so happy. He was a bit of a rodeo when he left here. 🤣 my back and arms will be so happy when he comes home and I can groom him without needing a bottle of wine afterwards! 🤣 table manners ✅

Lacie (Californium) came to visit for a play date and groom. 💚 I love that she’s local and I get to see her regularly. She’s so sweet and a bite of a firecracker at home! Good thing she has an older sister to burn off those puppy zoomies with.

Rem (Rembrandt) (Murtagh from our Outlander litter) Rem’s papa sent these great photos and a very sweet update. Rem is the best boy, loves to go for nature walks, he’s social and loves to play with other dogs. He’s just the best buddy for . Thank you Kevin for loving this puppy so much!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah & Happy Kwanza!!! Hoping this holiday season brings you much love and joy! Our pups today are enjoying their delivery from Santa and our house is nice is quiet.
