Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's back over the hill we go! Our last trip to DevonWood of the season takes us to the the GAIG/USDF Region 6 Championships & Cascade Dressage Festival! This year we have three adult amateurs--Susan A., Julia, and Nancy--competing in the AA Prix St. Georges Championship! Mari will also compete at Prix St. Georges in the open division. Ashley and Liam will vie for the AA Third Level Championship and try out Fourth Level for the Cascade Dressage Festival portion of the show. And Erika rounds out our lineup with her young eventing horse, Landser, who is gaining show experience in the Cascade Dressage Festival Training Level classes. Please join us in wishing everyone good luck this weekend!

Congratulations to Mari Dressage student Emily Woolley on the purchase of the beautiful Florence! Florence is a 10-year-old, black Hanoverian mare by Fabriano. Some of the Alliance Equestrian Center riders got a preview of this lovely mare when Molly Eastridge rode her at the USDF On The Level's Symposium with Janet Foy at Sonnenberg Farm, LLC earlier this year.

Mari Valceschini represented the buyer, and Jessica Wisdom of Equi-Librium Equestrian represented the seller. Thank you, Jessica, for providing an excellent horse shopping experience and helping make this match--we think Flo and Emily are just perfect together!

Good luck to all Alliance riders competing at Bridge City Spring Classic this weekend at DevonWood!

Mari Valceschini will be coaching four Mari Dressage students:

Youth rider Carlee Turner is entered in her first recognized show. She and Red Rock Road will go down centerline at Training and First levels. Welcome to dressage, kid!

Katherine Forester, also a youth rider, is is competing with the Thoroughbred mare Little Black Dress at Training and First levels.

Donning tails for the very first time, Susan Altman will make her Prix St. Georges debut aboard Emperador AR as they work toward Susan's Silver Medal.

Kaarin Forester "borrowed" her daughter's pony, Just My Luck, to compete at First Level this year. We'll see if Katherine gets her pony back!

Natalie of Natalie Perry Dressage is competing with two horses at Bridge City. Her own Karina G will show off her fancy trot extensions and add seasoning to her Third Level work.

And, finally, the BIG GUY! Natalie will pilot Nancy Weaver's Harvard R in the Prix St. Georges and I-1 as the pair gears up for next weekend's CDI.

Everyone at home is wishing the Alliance Lineup a safe and successful show!
