This extraordinairy woman came to us one year ago with an extremely strong will to learn and grow in what can often be a challenging environment. What she may have lacked in veterinary clinic experience she made up for ten-fold with perseverence. Maris (or Merrit, Melvin and Marvin as one of our clients likes to jokingly call her...) jumped in the ring with a love for animals *AND* humans, a huge smile on her face and the will to win over even the grouchiest pet owners 🤣and she has done just that! We are so impressed at the obstacles she has defeated all the while being her charming, hilarious little self. It's meet the staff Monday! Behold, the wondrous Kassie! She's been with us close to 7 years and as you can tell by the photos, has more layers than tiramisu. She is one of four lead technicians at our clinic - which is a tall order! We start throwing questions at this woman the second she walks in the door and the harassment usually doesn't stop until she is completely off the property...even then, we know how to find her!

💛It's meet the staff Monday! Today we wanted to give you guys a little insight into the breakroom at our clinic. More specifically, the team shout-out board that sits in the middle of the room. This board has only been a part of the break-room for last 18 months or so but since we put it up it's become increasingly filled with glowing messages of support, love and gratitude from clients, vendors and most of all each other. We rarely hold back telling each other in person if we're grateful or want to congratulate someone on a work milestone but there's just something about the lasting power of seeing those kind messages written down and proudly displayed to remind us that we're appreciated by our colleagues and clients alike ❤️

Hooray for World Teacher's Day! Most of us have at least one or two teachers in our lives. Their needs have often been overlooked historically - let alone recently as our world adapts to the pandemic. UNESCO phrases it best in their concept note on World Teachers Day, "Never have teachers been more wanted and needed than today. Miss PJ, pictured here, gets up before the Sun every weekday and drives all the way to Culver to teach her classroom of 6th and 7th graders. She usually unwinds by taking her 12 year old Staffy x Pit Bull Terrier mix, Dallas, and her 7 month old GSP puppy, Benny, for long evening and weekend walkies in one of her many "secret spots" she's found in the 30+ years she's lived in Bend. This sweetheart Sunday is brought to you by Roo the German Shepard. Her wonderful smile and warm eyes instantly made us want to close up shop and have a mellow snuggle. Did you know May is pet asthma and allergy awareness month? Just ask miss Roo Roo, she was here for some itchy skin irritation. Her hoomans were right on top of this problem though and together with the help of our amazing Dr. Hoffman we were able to get this beautiful girl some relief almost immediately!
