One of our lead Dog Groomers & very dedicated staff members Branden was a victim in a head-on collision this morning on his way to work. 6 days a week, he is dedicated to driving from East Prineville, Oregon, all of the way to Bend, Oregon. He spent half of the day in the emergency room and has injuries, and has been in shock. He had to be pulled out of his vehicle by a person who witnessed the erratic driver steer into Brandens Lane of oncoming traffic. This resulted in another vehicle behind Branden getting hit as well and flipping into a ditch on the side of the road with more severe injuries.
This was Brandens only reliable transportation he had to drive the 6 day a week drive.
Branden is so dedicated to his job and had to unfortunately cancel and reschedule what grooms we could for next week.. he is worried about how to transport himself and his dogs, seeing as rental vehicles will not allow dogs in them and needs to take them with him every day to work. His dogs were in the vehicle this morning and have been very shaken up but are okay
It is very hard to find such dedicated employees, & and especially ones that work as hard as he does!
He loves his job and all of his clients and is very distraught about not being able to work and see his clients and is not sure what to do about being able to continue with being able to work and we do not want to lose him!
We are seeking help from the community for Branden!
We are looking to help raise money or find someone with an extra car he can have so he can continue with his career and his life! He does not want this incident he had no control over to affect his life or his ability to have an income that he has worked so hard to create!
If anyone knows of someone with a spare Vehicle they do not need, maybe they can allow him to make payments or pay it forward to such a hard-working person!
He is going to recover, and the way he wants to recover is by working to keep his mind off of the trauma of this incident.
