Our annual Valentines Doggy Camp is almost here! Oregon is for lovers, & if you have plans for a special someone and are wondering what to do with your pets, we invite you to board them with us for a Special Valentines Weekend Doggy Camp ❤
A Pet Lovers Special is available for grooming appointments, with a $20 discount per appointment. This allows your dog and cat to be pampered and clean for Lovers Week, we do generally book out fairly quick so call us and we will get you a grooming reservation
If we run out of Kitty condos, we recommend Bend Kitty Lodge. Their lodge is located just a couple miles east of our Facility in South East Bend.

Humane Society of the Ochocos is in dire need of more community sponsors so it can complete it's new building for extra space. In some cases, it is tripling animals to a single kennel.

We have opened our doors to help assist in the Palisades & Eaton California Fires.
There is currently a large number of domestic animals that have been displaced as well as families.
We are aware of the families that have seeked refuge in Central Oregon, we are here to help.
We have been contacted to help due to all of the oregon wild fires we help with yearly
We are wanting to extend our help across the oregon border & welcome these animals that need a place to go.

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol found in products like dental care items and sugar-free foods. It's highly toxic to dogs—even in small amounts. If a dog ingests xylitol, contact a veterinarian or the Pet Poison Helpline immediately.
Generally speaking, the dose of xylitol required to cause poisoning in dogs is about 0.05 grams per pound of body weight.
