Transformation Tuesday: Emily & Calwera
We are beyond proud of Emily, who has been riding at Elevate for just over a year now! During her time at Elevate, she has made incredible strides in her riding, and we couldn’t be more excited about her progress.
Emily has worked hard to refine her alignment in the saddle, with a particular focus on straightness in her body and the proper positioning of her hands. This dedication to her form has made such a difference in her riding! Not only has she developed a stronger position, but she’s also learned how to influence her lease horse, Calwera, in a more effective way that enhances their partnership and communication. When a rider has control and awareness of his or her own body, the rider can help the horse use its body properly and build strength.
But perhaps the most inspiring transformation has been the growth of Emily’s confidence. She’s gained so much trust in herself and her abilities, and it’s been amazing to witness her evolve both as a rider and an individual.
Looking ahead, Emily’s goal for 2025 is to compete in a 2’ course — and we have no doubt that she and Calwera are going to achieve great things together. We can’t wait to see what the next year holds for this amazing duo! 🌟
