Hello my name is Sam, but I also go by Lucky. I am the current Reception Supervisor at the Animal Clinic of Benicia. I started taking care of my Nana which led me to a career of caregiving. I started work at an adult daycare for the intellectually disabled, but I felt as if I needed something new. So, I started working as the administrative assistant at the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. Sadly, I had to leave CARD due to unseen circumstances. Everything happens for a reason because shortly after I found the new passion that I was looking for within ​Alley Cat Small Animal hospital. I have been in the veterinary field for 2 years and I am currently enrolled in a course for Veterinary Practice Management, which I plan on finishing before the end of 2024. My goal is to finish strong and one day operate my own animal hospital or clinic and not only provide the best care and treatment to the animals we serve but also patience and compassion for their loved ones.
