Clutch 13 pipped tonight, so we cut them. Calico het tri-stripe x pos calico (low expression) het tri-stripe. 6 eggs, 6 calicos. A couple don’t show up well in the group photo, but they are. And yes, their egg shells got folded back over them after the photo. Both parents came from

Our little bamboo mojave male is waiting too see all of you in Loveland Colorado. He is also taking up the task of guarding .collection celestial dragon “Cressida” to keep her from being damaged before she can be sold. So if you are in the Loveland area, come on out and say hi!

Looks like we got a surprise het gene in both parents of this clutch and it was the same. What are the odds. CG enchi YB (het g-stripe) x enchi lemonblast (het g-stripe). Was definitely not expecting g-stripes, though will take them nonetheless. Happy to get so CG this year too as now we know the male is a male maker.

Clutch 4 are all out of their eggs. Nice selection of hypo combos. Hypo HRA x Hypo cinnamon enchi lesser pastel pinstripe. All will be seeking new zip codes once they are eating well and up to 100 grams.

Clutch 10 arrived this afternoon. OD pinstripe x pinstripe het clown. 7 nice eggs. Will be glad to get back to snuggling with the mom, Penny. She was a pet first and so chill when I took her off her eggs. Also, the incubator is getting full. Waiting on 4 more clutches now. Definitely need more hatchling racks. lol

Come on out and see us at the Nebraska Reptile Breeders Expo this Sunday. Need to clear out the last of the ‘23 hatchlings to make room for this years babies. Already 8 clutches laid and one hatched. In that clutch we got our first ever twins! However, as they are so young still they won’t be making an appearance at the show. See you all there!!

All of clutch 1 are out of their eggs. So very cute and the twins are just adorable! Now to wait for the first shed or two to determine genes for sure.

Well, as babies start emerging from their eggs in clutch one, I noticed an odd thing this morning. Took a closer look and we have our first set of TWINS!! We are beyond stoked for this. Cannot wait for them to come out so we can get a good look at them. 🥰

Do today has been a bag of mixed emotions. First the good. Clutch #6 dropped. 7 healthy eggs from a CG YB enchi x pastel pinstripe enchi pairing. May is going to be hatchling heaven. lol. Now the bad. One of our male breeders, our champagne super enchi albino, passed away over night. Was very sudden and unexpected. Have to wait now and see what the necropsy says. RIP Mortain.

Think I’m a little behind. On 3/24/24 clutch #4 was laid. That was our hypo hra x hypo enchi pastel pinstripe lesser cinnamon pairing. 10 lovely eggs. This afternoon clutch #5 dropped New gene x pastel. She gave us 9 nice eggs. Not bad for a first time mom. Will be neat to see how the new gene works with pastel and if the pastel has anything hidden in her. She was just given to us as a pet ‘normal male’. Lol This season is just forging ahead full steam. With luck, 10 more clutches to go!
