Dear Valued Clients,
We recently sent an important email out to all of our clients. If you're not on our email list, or it hit your Spam Folder, here's the information that we don't want you to miss! 💜
As we approach the Fourth of July, we at Living Springs Veterinary Care want to remind you to keep your furry friends safe and comfortable during the celebrations. The loud noises from fireworks can be particularly distressing for pets, leading to anxiety, fear, and even escape attempts.
🐶 Pet Fireworks Safety Tips
Keep them indoors - Ensure your pets are safely inside your home, preferably in a quiet, comfortable room. Close windows and curtains to help muffle the sound of fireworks.
Provide a safe space - Create a den-like area where your pet can retreat if they feel anxious. This could be their crate, a bed under a table, or any space where they feel secure.
Mask the noise - Turn on a TV or play calming music to help mask the sound of fireworks.
Consider anxiety aids - If your pet is particularly sensitive to loud noises, talk to us about options such as calming treats, pheromone diffusers, or medication to help reduce anxiety.
Update identification - Ensure your pet's microchip and ID tags are up-to-date with your current contact information, in case they do manage to escape.
🚨 Clinic Hours for July 4th:
Please note we will be closed on Friday, July 4th to allow our team time to celebrate with their families. For emergency triage, please contact us at 303-644-3337 and follow the prompts to get in touch with our triage team.
🎉 Coming Soon:
In efforts to significantly streamline workflows, enhance patient care, and reduce administrative burdens, Living Springs Veterinary Care will be implementing a new AI system as a tool that enhances care, improves communication, and protects your pet’s medical history — not as a replacement for personal attention.
Better Accuracy and Detail - We use AI-assisted note-taking so we can focus completely on your pet during the visit, while ensuring every important detail is recorded — from symptoms to treatment.
More Face-to-Face Time - Because AI helps us document faster, we spend less time on the computer and more time with you and your pet.
Secure and Private - Your pet’s information is still completely private. We only use secure, veterinary-specific tools that comply with medical data standards.
Improved Follow-Up Care - AI helps us create clearer visit summaries and reminders — so you always know what was done and what to expect next.
🐶 Living Springs Pet Spa is striving for transparency and consistency in our pricing.
Why does this matter? We believe in transparent pricing so you always know what to expect and can make informed decisions about your pet’s care.
Variability in pricing - Prices can vary a bit based on your pet’s size, coat condition, and behavior. We’ll always assess and give you an estimate before we start.
Extra Charges - If we find any issues like matting, we may need to charge a small de-matting fee for the extra time it takes. We’ll check with you before we proceed. Some extra charges that you may incur are: a de-matting fee, flea and tick treatments, a behavioral fee, or an in-estrus fee.
We wish you and your pets a safe and happy Fourth of July!
Sincerely,
🐾 The Team at Living Springs Veterinary Care
P.S. Share a photo of your pet in in front of our red, white, and blue photo booth on social media and tag us and enter to win. The photo with the most likes by July 4th will win a free bag of treats.
