Vermont Paws & Boots was established to assist our Military Veterans & First Responders who have sustained various disabilities through their service to our country and communites. Vermont Paws & Boots partners rescue dogs with individuals in need and trains them to work as a team. Creating a bond between these two allows for both to once again thrive. y Veteran with over 30 years of Police experience including 11 years as an award winning K-9 handler/instructor. Michelle has just recently retired from the State of Vermont after serving 22 years as a State Trooper. Due to her passion for working dogs and those who serve she saw a need for a program such as this to exist in Vermont. Vermont historically has the most deployed military personnel and fallen veterans per capita. National studies have also shown that Police officers and Firefighters can be equally affected by the trauma they are exposed to on a daily basis. Michelle recognized this situation and used her training and experience as an opportunity to fulfill her passion assisting Veterans, First responders, and canines.

His dad is Kiko’s handler and Giovanni attends training session with his dad as much as he can to help him and us when not attending school, baseball, football, and of course d**g his martial arts training. I’ve personally watch him grow over the past year into a confident young man and I’m honored to him as part of our Vermont Paws & Boots family. On behalf of all of us thank you for your vote! Class 6 graduates SD Cricket and her Mom had an out of state work trip and then took some time to enjoy the summer and do some site seeing. One of these stops was to visit Mt. Rushmore. Awesome job 🐾🇺🇸. When you trust the journey it can take you on an adventure.
