As we continue to work on rebuilding it’s not always 2x4’s and Sheetrock. Sometimes it’s simply gravel and dirt. A huge thank you Sandy LeBlanc O'Neill & Kip for taking a chance on some gravel at a Sacred Heart fundraiser and upon winning ~ donating it to us. Now if mother nature would give me a little light rain I wouldn’t have to water my sure pack 🤣

Paws Crossed our film takes first! Thank you to Loose Leashes by Ron Schmidt & Amy for helping to tell our journey 🐾🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

We’re thrilled to share that our first-ever documentary, “To Comfort and Serve - PTSD Service Dogs for Veterans,” is premiering at the 9th Annual NY Dog Film Festival! 🐾 Even more exciting, we’re one of the top 3 finalists for the Service Dog Salute 🇺🇸 category, sponsored by Purina Dog Chow ! 🎉 The festival kicks off in NYC on 10/24, and thanks to Purina, we’ll be heading to a special event on 10/23 to find out if our film takes first place. 🏆

Honestly, we already feel like winners just being part of this amazing festival. We're so thankful to Michelle Leblanc from Vermont Paws & Boots and her students Chris and Mike for agreeing to participate in our film. We’ll be sharing a story with a link to grab tickets for the premiere soon. Keep your paws crossed for us! 🤞🐶✨ We’ll keep you posted on our journey and adventures at The NY Dog Film Festival!

October updates: The walls are up, electrical is in full swing, the plumbing is taking shape and I’m super excited. I can’t pull this off without all your support. So please continue to help us so I can help others from near and soon far away have a better life with the use of service dogs. A quick update on the outside of the new training facility. My team at C&C Landscaping continues to play in the mud to get the failed pipes up to date and water moving away from the training facility in case Mother Nature has another temper tantrum! Today they are also working on our handicap parking area. 🐾🐕‍🦺🇺🇸

What a beautiful fall 🍁day in Vermont. Looking for a place to do some early holiday shopping ~ come to the former Camelot Antique Center / now the home of Vermont Paws & Boots service dog training program (89 Colgate Heights Bennington) and find a one of a kind piece or a display case or even a roof for your she shed or chicken coops from some of the many inside. Our volunteers are here to help and we have had a busy morning ! 🐾🇺🇸🐕‍🦺😊.

Estate Sale 10/12/24 from 9~2. (At 89 Colgate Heights Bennington VT). Just a few pictures of the many items our awesome volunteers have worked so hard over the past few weeks to find, organize, clean, and getting this area looking better every week. From knickknacks to all the display cases & even the display roofs (could use for chicken coops, she sheds, play houses etc.) are up for grabs. It’s gonna be a beautiful day so please come and purchase items to help us continue to build an amazing training facility one paw print at a time! 🐾🇺🇸🐕‍🦺😊

Today’s Wednesday and that means it’s our VOLUNTEER WORK CREW day. All are welcome to come to the training facility (89 Colgate Heights Bennington) between 4 PM and 7 PM to help us keep this place looking nice. Tonight’s list is: prepping / cleaning items for the estate sale this Saturday (9-2), taking down the last bit of sheet rock and nails in the new living quarters, and if we have enough people, some yardwork outside if the weather holds out. hope to see some new faces for this amazing journey 🐾🇺🇸🐕‍🦺😊
