Aster’s babies are 6 weeks old and are now open for reservations ❤️ my plan is still to hold either Pandora or Nova back, but I’m still unsure of who so I’m posting them to see what interest there is ❤️

Update on our Mini Rex herd plus our current babies! It’s taken me so long to get back on my feet with them after losing Poppy. I’m so grateful I kept her daughter Posey but it took her FOREVER to take to a breeding 🤦🏼‍♀️
Not everyone wanted to cooperate and most of them are molting thanks to the heat being on in the house, but for just getting (re)started I’m so happy with our herd (even if we’re super buck heavy 😅)

I had no intention of hanging onto Cupid but this boy really is the full package…typey, loving, and eager to be around his people, including my kids! He won’t run past us without stopping to give kisses and get some pets 🥰

Happy New Year everyone! We hope everyone has a fun and safe evening celebrating the end of 2024 and welcoming in 2025. I can’t thank all of you enough for supporting our little rabbitry ❤️ I’m so blessed to have made so many friends and mentors in the rabbit community this year and for having the absolute best families adopt and love our bunnies. I know I say it a lot but updates always make my day and I love to see our littles absolutely thriving and being spoiled rotten with you all 🥰
2024 was the first year really hitting the ground running with litters and I’ve learned so much about my bunnies and type/quality as well as how best to socialize them. Each new generation of our bunnies is friendlier and more comfortable with handling/affection which make my heart so happy, there’s nothing quite like a litter of baby bunnies running to the hutch door begging for pets when they see you coming 🥰
I put so much time, money, energy, etc into our bunnies and your support has made it all worth it, and allows me to keep working with our bunnies❤️
There’s a lot of exciting things planned for 2025, but first the “bad” news. Going into 2025 I will no longer be working with clean line/showable hollands. I’ve had so many wonderful 4H/FFA families have great success with our hollands, but working with multiple breeds to ARBA show standard is extremely difficult and my mini Rex have always been where my heart is with showable bunnies. I’m not getting out of hollands but I will only have the “hobby” colors of magpie, Vienna, and white ear. These buns will still occasionally produce a showable bunny but I will not have designated showable holland litters anymore. If you’d be interested in our herd buck or clean line does please feel free to message me for more info ❤️
On to the exciting news, our mini Rex program will be the focus for our showable bunnies, specifically working with Reds and making baby steps towards having chocolate and lilacs available but good type will be the major focus at first. Our Mini Rex herd currently has good bootys but I need some better shoulders and would like a little more overall depth. We also have a litter of 3 blues I’ve been keeping a secret of 😉 mama Bluey also took in a single surviving foster baby from a friends accidental litter.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you, and here’s the really really exciting news….our first Mini Plush Lop litter will (hopefully) be here late January early February!!! This project has been a looooong time in the making and I’m so excited that we’ll have chocolate and dilute varieties (I love my chocolates 😅). I’ve had a lot of interest in the MPL so I’ll be starting a waitlist for them, if you’re interested in being added feel free to message me.

Hi, it’s me, posting in the middle of the night again since my kids are ✨struggling✨ to get back on schedule after our crazy week. But here’s the promised baby picture updates 🥰

Asters litter is currently 5 weeks old, I’m taking ‘pending reservations’ for them now, no deposit required until 6 weeks, but you’ll be put at top of our waiting list for whichever kit you’re interested in and be sent weekly updates on that kit❤️

Remi’s litter is currently 3.5 weeks old and are Reindeer themed for the holiday spirit 🥰 to say I’m obsessed with how the type came out on these bunnies is an understatement! I’ve never produced what I feel is a show worthy bunny from my Vienna lines (type is always a work in progress)but some of these littles are really typey, especially that black tort boy 😮‍💨

This one hurts to post…but Huckleberry is now l👀king for his new home.
I had no intentions of letting this little guy go, but I do plan to show my red mini Rex and he, unfortunately, just won’t make the cut at a show. As a singleton he’s on the larger side and he managed to cut his back toe and his fur isn’t growing back in right, so I’d anticipate it to be an automatic DQ 😭 (fully healed with no issues now other than wonky fur growth).
He is as sweet as can be and loves attention, admittedly a little too much sometimes 😅 he has minimal s**t (just a tad bit on the ears) and I expect him to develop nicely type wise.
High preference for a pet home, but would be open to letting him go as a future herd buck.

Happy (extremely late) holidays everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating❤️ It’s been a crazy week for us with a wedding, funeral, and Christmas all in one week, plus in the craziness, I forgot to take some of my meds which makes me super sick so I’ve been in recovery mode the past few days with the boys 🙃 hoping to get updates on all the babies up tomorrow, but in the meantime here’s my planned grow outs (NFS) from Aster and Remi 🥰

Haven’t posted much about our otter mini Rex babies since they were born, we have one big healthy kit and I though we would lose the rest of them, if you remember the kit with the leg deformity, he wasn’t a peanut and has grown and made a remarkable come back! His foot is back in a somewhat normal position and he’s walking on it normally ❤️
I’ve had some experience with swimmers syndrome kittens and used some of those techniques to help straighten out and stabilize his leg (massaging the leg, working the muscles (extending and compressing the leg), and attempted to wrap the leg though it wasn’t very successful). Hopeful we’ll continue to see more improvement but for this much change in two weeks is so exciting ❤️

Mischief (more white) and Mayhem (darker) are 8 weeks old and will be ready for a forever family.
Would love to see them go together, but not necessary.
As her name suggests Mischief is always the first out for free roaming time and is into anything and everything she can explore. She also loves playing with my infant while he crawls around on the floor, running up to him and licking his nose or hand before hopping just out of his reach, it’s absolutely adorable🥹
Mayhem is more shy and laid back, but loves to snuggle and follow after her sister as she explores. She’s definitely an observer but will explore after her sister has proven it’s safe 😂💕
Both are girls and will be ready around 10 weeks old as I’m late getting them into the weaning process.
I intend to hang onto one (or both) so I’ll be a little picky with where they end up ❤️

The magpie litter has astrological themed names 💕
Mostly because Nova was stuck in my head for her so I went with it 😅
It currently looks like 4 does and 1 buck but I’ll continue to check and update if there’s any changes. Pandora and Nova are in serious consideration for staying but we’ll see 🙈😅

Remi had 7 beautiful little babies this morning ❤️ so far it looks like 3 harlequins, a black tort, and either 3 BEW or 2 BEW and an extreme VM baby. 🥰

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I just wanted to make an announcement that my next human baby has decided to make his appearance a few weeks early so starting next week I cannot guarantee I’ll be checking messages until I’m out of the hospital, and after that I’ll only be guaranteeing messages will be checked once every few days as my family adjusts to two under two and I recover. If I’m providing you updates on a bunny I will try and provide them as normal outside of next week when I’m in the hospital and my sister will be taking care of the bunnies. If you have any pressing questions please feel free to message me this week and I will respond asap.
