Another hard day of babies. Perry ended up having 3 babies, one peanut, one normal kit, and one massive streched kit. Thankfully the prior two came first otherwise we may have been looking at a total loss again.
I’m so grateful for our little broken baby being alive and healthy. Pictures below, last ones will be of the streched kit so please use your discretion when viewing.
I’ve often been bad about only sharing the good that happens when raising bunnies, but this situation is a very real possibility with every litter we have, I’ve just been extremely lucky that this is the first time in the almost 3 years of bunnies that I’ve taken this hard of a loss.
Pansy is holding hostages so hopefully we’ll have a whole litter of healthy babies to share tomorrow.
Otherwise, Aster and Posey have been bred for January babies. Two of my absolute best mamas.
