This is Wiley! He is a red Heeler cattle dog around a year old. This guy is easy to be around, learns quickly, and will be very loyal to you! He does great with dogs. Wiley is watchful of new people and isn't a dog who is going to greet everyone. An active home is a must with knowledge of herding dogs. Wiley is just going to want to be at your side. Come meet him, he is a neat little dog!

This is kitty. Yep, that's her name, and she is a sweetheart. Kitty's owner went into a nursing home, and she came to us. She is old and just wants a home to live out her life. She does not do well with other cats. Please come meet this older girl, you'll fall in love.

Meet newcomer Ed. He is a black lab around 5-6 years old. He is stressed at the shelter and just wants to go home. I spent a lot of time with him yesterday. He LOVES his ball and his baby pool. He bonded well with me and will be a loyal dog. He walked well on a leash and was happy just laying next to me. He has not been in a play group yet. He did come in with another young male and they had lived together. Ed must go to a home where they will play ball and have a yard.(a baby pool would be a plus too)😉🙂 Let's share this guy so he doesn't have to be at the shelter long!

Skippy got to have some time out of the shelter! This sweet lady is a medium sized, pug mix, around 5 years old. She is very affectionate, loves her person, and is a very happy girl. Skippy is easy to be around, gets along with dogs and did great while we shopped. I would love to see her in a home! Come meet Skippy 🩷
Another great day outside! We try and beat the heat with an awesome mister system and a baby pool. We have quite a few dogs that have been with us for awhile. This play group is Beebs(our longest resident at 6 months) Bruiser, Newt, and Skippy. All great dogs, with good manners. Please come visit our residents even though it's hot!
Meet Lottie! She is just the sweetest Saint Bernard mix. She has been hanging out with the seniors and doing great. She takes treats so gentle and is on the calmer side. She must go to a home with a large fenced yard where she is able to come in. Come meet Lottie! As you can see in the video Jack, Angel and Rueben are still at the shelter. They are 3 very gentle souls who just need a soft bed to retire on and a place to call home. Please come meet our seniors!

What a fun day to play in the water! These two are still at the shelter. Snowflake is 8 to 10 months old and weighs 11 pounds. Scoops is 15 pounds and 6 years old. They must go to playful homes with fenced yards.
Come check out our cat house and play with some kittens. We still have many looking for homes. Adoptions are 55$. That includes spay, neuter and vaccinations.

Sully got to spend the afternoon in Sierra vista! She is still at the shelter and it is a stressful place for this 8 year old little lady. I love this dog and it's hard to put her back! She is so very sweet, and LOVES her squeaky ball. She rides perfect in a vehicle, and just wants to sit in your lap and look out the window. She doesn't like you in her face, but once she knows you she gives you kisses and forms a strong bond with her person. She must go to a home where you will play ball with her😀. She gets along with everyone. Come meet Sully!
There's snowflakes in June?? Yes there are, and we have one at the shelter! Snowflake is a chihauhau, terrier mix, around 9 months old. She is super sweet and loving. She is still a puppy, so a playful home is a must😊Come meet Snowflake!
We're getting ready for the party tomorrow from 10-2!! Jack got a bath and was so happy, he got to cuddle up in the office for his afternoon nap. We have been bathing, cleaning and keeping dogs cool in this heat!! Thank you to everyone who helped today and worked so hard. What an amazing group of people❤️
Charlie is still at the shelter and he is getting stressed. He walks great on a leash and is sweet. He enjoys his play time with another large female dog and does good with her. Come say Hi to Charlie!

Jack is still at the shelter! If you don't know about Jack he was found covered in cholla. I posted about him previously, you can scroll down to find him. This guy is as sweet and perfect as you can get. Everyone at the shelter wishes we could take him home! He just needs a soft bed and a loving home to live out his life. He so deserves it! He is good with everything, but must go to a quiet home, with quiet dogs so he doesn't get knocked over. Please come meet Jack, you will fall in love.
UPDATE: Enu had a meet and greet with his potential adopter and their family dog. All went well and they will be taking Enu home on Tuesday! Congrats to Dr. Ellen at Benson Animal Hospital on your new family member!
Meet Enu. He is a lab around 8 years old and he is such a sweet guy. Enu's owner is battling some major medical issues and has been hospitalized, so Enu came to us to find his next forever home! He lived with a cat and little dogs. He does great with all the Dogs he is around and is just a happy guy! He still has spunk and likes to take walks. This guy needs to lose weight, so it would be great if someone could help him with that. Enu would love to find a home soon, as the shelter is a little stressful for him.
