Good morning again,

We have a furry friend visiting us that has seemed to be wandering around since before New Years!

He is a young intact male shepard/Husky mix with a calm but shy demeanor. Dr. Menks is willing to neuter him at no charge and take x-rays of hind leg as he is currently limping. It appears he has an older injury.

We have a client in need of rehoming one of his pups due to family health issues.

Meet Ace! Ace is a 7 year old intact German Shepard. He is a healthy boy whose owners have hardship in the family and can no longer keep him. He is people and cat friendly and will protect his property. He has not been exposed to lot of other dogs but has always gotten along well.

Appreciation Post: Dr Menks’ Mobile Vet Care

One of our important partnering organizations is the Dr. Menks’ Mobile Vet Clinic on behalf of West Richland Animal Control’s 61 animals in need since the year 2013. I have worked with many awesome vet agencies, and Dr. Menks has always made room for our animal emergencies last minute, works with our donations/costs, and most importantly, she provides veterinarian expertise during animal cruelty cases. Thank you Dr. Menks’ and the Menks’ team. She has saved many lives during my time with WRPD and deserves recognition on behalf of the animals. -ACCO

Hello all!

We wanted to reach out with our clinic's upcoming holiday break schedules:

For Thanksgiving we will be closed Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th.

Dr. Menks will be out of the clinic from Friday, December 15th - Thursday, January 4th. Our Clinic will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-3pm for food and medication pick up. Our regular clinic schedule will resume Friday, January 5th.

Take a look at a couple of our youngest therapy patients!

Here are pictures of Coco and Chanel who suffer from what we call "Swimmer Puppy Syndrome". Puppies that are born with this syndrome have flat chests and their hind legs are splayed out, which made it impossible for them to walk. With the help of our rehab center we were able to help them walk and get stronger. We perform floor exercises and soon they will be in our underwater treadmill. A big thank you to pet parents that are dedicated to helping these little cuties. They are growing stronger with each session! 🐾

A regular wellness/vaccine appointment is alloted a 15 min slot on the schedule. If you are 10 min late you are already more than halfway through your appointment time and running into the next patient's time.

We understand we have been very busy and booked but If you know you are going to be late, please call our clinic asap to see if we can still see your pet. We will always do our very best to accommodate you!

Dr. Menks is always on the move and learning new things! She recently attended the 2023 Veterinary Laser Surgery Symposium of the American Laser Study Club in TEXAS 🤠

We are very excited for our brand new surgical laser to arrive to offer your pets the very best.
