NEW MENU IS LIVE AND READY FOR ORDERS!! As bad as we want to leap right into fall recipes, we are just dipping in that direction this week with APPLE CIDER FOCACCIA WITH AN APPLE CIDER GLAZE 🍎🍏😋🧡💛🥖Mmmmm... Apples are here and local, so why not take advantage of that!?!?

I must mention the ROASTED GARLIC & ASIAGO ARTISAN LOAF 🧄🧀🤎🥖! Garlic is local as well !! We love when we can incorporate locally sourced ingredients into our recipes.

IMPORTANT! We are shifting our PICK UP DAY to TUESDAY going forward. With Monday this next week being a holiday, we felt like it was a good time to make the switch. MENU WILL BE AVAILABLE TIL END OF THE DAY SATURDAY!!

Garlic harvest 2024 underway!!! We have tons (5 gator loads to be exact 😆) and bulbs are thiiiick and beautiful 😻

4 varieties are available this year: German Extra Hardy, Chesnok Red, Metechi and Georgian Fire, plus Elephant garlic…as big as Remy’s head 👦🏻🧄

Use for eating or planting as seed stock. It will be ready for pick up or shipping in a couple of weeks after curing.

Candy’s feathers have almost completely grown back and she is spending supervised visits with the flock! Still coming in the house at night and stays in the outside with the others in a cage when I’m not able to sit and babysit. But so far so good! She comes running to me when anything startles her. 🥰

Cotton Candy update!!
After spending a full day at the office, Candy returned to Two By Two Animal Hospital to have her staples removed. She was given a clean bill of health and is (miraculously) expected to make a full recovery!❤️‍🩹

🫑🧡 Etiuda Pepper - Sweet orange bell variety from seeds I saved from my peppers last year!

🫑 🔔 Mini Bell - Colorful mini sweet bell peppers!

🫑 💄 Lipstick - Elongated red sweet peppers.

🫑 👑 King of the North - Sweet red peppers that do well in Northern climates (seeds saved from plants grown locally last summer, so they are extra climatized!).

🌶️🐠 Fish Peppers - My favorite hot pepper. I bought these peppers two summers ago and save seeds every fall for the next year. The plants and peppers are variegated and beautiful!

🌶️🍑 Sugar Rush Peach - Don’t let the name fool you, these peppers are HOT! A bit citrusy and the name comes from the peach color of the peppers when they are ripe.

🌶️🔮Aji Cristal - Fun new variety we are trying this year!

SOLD OUT 🌶️🫑Poblano - Not really hot, but not sweet, great for stuffing.

🌶️💜Guillet - Another new variety to us this year, peppers and plants are very colorful and variegated.

Tomatoes:
SOLD OUT 🍅▪️Black from Tula - An heirloom variety originating from Ukraine, described as having a smoky, complex flavor.

SOLD OUT 🍅⚫️ Black Krim - Dark red/purple large fruit with a rich sweet flavor. Said to alway place high in tomato test trials

🍅 🍇 Riesentraube - Large cherry-type tomato. The name means, “giant bunch of grapes” as these tomatoes grow in clusters.

🍅🎩 Orange Hat/Tiny Tim - These won’t be your most prolific plants, but they are adorable and great for containers! These micro/dwarf varieties usually don’t need staking and range from only 6-12 inches tall! Please specify which variety you want, the Orange Hat is smaller than the Tiny Tim.

SOLD OUT 🍅🌈 Big Rainbow - Produces very large tomatoes, often over 1lb. Plus, the name of this tomato makes it perfect for pride month!

Cotton Candy made it through the night and is eating and drinking on her own. She is even trying to preen! Still doesn’t look very good underneath those feathers, but she is doing well all things considered! 🤍

Tomato 🍅 and pepper 🌶️ 🫑 plants will be posted for sale in the next few days! Lots of varieties available this year 🤩.

While we will begin sales soon, we recommend waiting to plant these outside until at least May 15th, we still have a few nights in the lower 40s in the forecast.

Didn’t intend to spend the later half of my Sunday at the vet with a chicken emergency, but here we are.

Sometimes introducing new animals doesn’t go as planned. A week ago, I integrated the new chicks into the coop with the existing flock. Things seemed to be going well until today…

Cotton Candy, or Candy for short, (a white polish chick we hatched from Mulberry Meadow Farms) got attacked by the other birds today and I found her all bloody. I suspect it was the guineas. Anyways, many staples, antibiotics, and pain meds later, we are back home but she is still has a lot to overcome. We are keeping our fingers crossed and trying to keep her as quiet and comfortable as possible. Hoping for a happy ending 🥺🤞
