Happy Sunday, FABULOUS followers!!!!

The weather will be amazing this week! If it is amazing on your end, then I could ship tomorrow! Tomorrow is my only free day next week. I'll be in Nashville on 8/19 (tomorrow, all day) and 8/22 (all day). Thursday is hubby's knee replacement......prayers appreciated!

I have 12 spots remaining on my chick box waffle. Today is the last day for it! I'll refund if I don't fill it. It contains a paint chick from my line!!

I have a black mottled Silkie roo available, from Stonebrook Silkies hatching eggs, just started crowing! I have a dominant white growout from the same breeder available too!

Happy Saturday!!!

Gray-laced keepers from this year! I'm so happy with the way they turned out! I hatched over 100 eggs in this pen this season and I'm down to 20 keepers. It is still too many for my liking for the fall. I'll be offering a young male and female this weekend from this pen.......stayed too!!!!

I may be able to ship birds this week with the temps! I'm meeting Burlesque Poultry Page and Cluckingham Palace next week.....get your birds while you can!

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY FRIDAY!

This Mama is tired! 23 birds made it safely to their new Silkie mom in Connecticut, thanks to Keystone Small Animal Transport !! Karen is amazing with transport!

First day of school this week and fighting with cranky kiddos! Check ✅️

Helping spread beautiful yard-art throughout the United States!!! Check ✅️

No bugs in any of the house traps this week!!! Yay! ✅️

I still have too many birds for my liking with hubby's surgery next Thursday. I'll be doing one final cut until the fall and listing birds this weekend. I'll be out-of-commission from 8/21-9/21 to take care of family so you better get your birds now!

I'm closing the chick box waffle on Sunday, 8/18. I'll refund if it doesn't fill-I don't mind keeping babies!!!

I've done a complete makeover on my red fun pen.......more details in the fall after I test hatch!!!

Who needs a gym?!?!?!

Get Silkies or farm animals! They depend on you every day to survive. I can't make an excuse that I don't feel well enough to feed or water them......I have to get out of bed and take care of these precious babies regardless of pain or tiredness. My Silkies are my "exercise" buddied-lol. See......another reason to get more Silkies!!

Happy Friday Eve! I'm still hurting this morning but I do not have time for it! Sometimes in life we just have to push through things.....
I'm pushing hard today, my friends! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!

What a day!!!!! I went to Franklin, TN for an epidural in my lumbar. They hit a nerve halfway through the procedure and I revoked my consent and told them to stop. NEVER AGAIN!!

I did get to see Deana with Broody Bluff Farm and picked up a beautiful bird for Jill at Precious Peepers . She is working with my red roo, Peanut, and I'm so excited to see the results! I want babies in the future!

I met with Karen at Keystone Small Animal Transport . It is always a pleasure to see her and her precious cargo! I send 23 birds to a sweet Silkie Sister in Connecticut.

What a fun day before my awful procedure! I love meeting my people! Silkie sisters and brothers. Isn't it amazing what a beautiful bird can do to bring people together!

Stay positive and stay kind! We are all fighting with cocky Roos and broody b$tches. My gray-laced and Gray pen gave me my first egg in 2 weeks with 5 hens!! They are all broody and molting!

Happy hump day, FB peeps! This little frizzle is still available! I've been busy preparing boxes and getting orders ready! I have eggs hatching from Big Boy and Q-tip, the 2 I lost to a predator 2 weeks ago! I'm so excited!

I caught another opossum last night. This brings the total to 2 opossums and 2 skunks. I'm still waiting for a racoon!

I have motion lights and motion alarms I'm adding to the coop this weekend. I hope that will put an end to the predators around the coop!

The weekend is almost here! I'm ready for it.......are you? Bug prevention treatment this weekend for my Silkies if this back injection today doesn't put me down for a week!

Pray for me, please! I have a back injection this afternoon and I'm dreading it!!

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

I have several orders going out today and tomorrow. Keystone Small Animal Transport is taking over 20 birds to Connecticut tomorrow after I deliver my red roo to Jill at Precious Peepers and meet with Deana at Broody Bluff Farm . It may take me a minute to respond today and tomorrow but I will respond.

I have a chick box waffle still open. I haven't had time to refund and close it. I'll spin if it fills before I close it. I have fresh chicks hatching thus weekend!

Monday is here and let's make this an amazing week! I'm back at the Job today since I fought bugs all last week. Half of my house is in a storage unit in case the exterminator needs to bomb again in 2 weeks. I spend an hour every day just looking for something and I hate it!

I discovered my 2 paint Roos in my largest paint pen are not getting along so I now have 3 paint pens.....I do not need 3 paint pens so one of my paint Roos must go! He is gorgeous and does not have any leakage! He is picking on Bob Ross and I can't have that. He is breeder quality and has great type!

I'm meeting with Keystone Small Animal Transport on Wednesday and Cluckingham Palace Burlesque Poultry Page the following week. Let me know if you are interested!

Latest hatch! Look at those spots! I added 2 black hens from Crouch's Silkie Farm to Bob Ross' pen (paint roo from Cape Silkies) and look at the results!!!! Cow spots for days! I still have spots left in my egg waffle tonight! My paints are laying the best at the moment! Showgirl is from my red pen, not paint.

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! The weather in Western Kentucky is amazing! I have a chick box and eggs going out tomorrow! I have 3 waffles going on today, a breeder pair of your choice, hatching eggs, and a chick box! I'm closing all today! Let's get them filled so I can spin tonight and mail it out tomorrow! I have available birds posted too!

I have an injection in my back on Wednesday. I'm not looking forward to it but it is necessary. Hubby is having a total knee replacement toward the end of the month so I'm trying to do what I can now before I become nurse Catherine-lol.

My kiddos go back to school next week, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade! They are growing so fast!

Life can be so crazy and hectic. My Silkies and Satins are my therapy. I hope I can help you obtain your own Silkie therapy! Better grab them now because it is almost time for a break for this Silkie mama!

White Silkie, 3 months old, unsexed but beautiful. It appears to be a dominant white but I would recommend test breeding if it makes a difference. Benton, KY

I'm swaping Roos in my red fun pen. I may consider letting Peanut go. He has light skin but amazing color! I do not have time or space to keep them all so cuts must be made!
