Teaching a puppy all about the world at an early age is very important in creating a well-balanced adult dog. Have you thought about why some dogs are so calm around loud environments, while others look anxious and stressed? Part of our ENS training is introducing our puppies to every day loud/sudden noises.
All of these sounds our dogs will encounterβfrom noises inside the house (such as the vacuum or dishwasher, noisy children); to outside environments such as the dog parks (birds chirping, ducks quacking, goats bleating or dogs barking); and the outside world (traffic, storms, fireworks). Teaching a puppy to be comfortable with all sorts of sounds is key to having a well balanced and behaved dog.
Since these pups have been using the litter boxes the vacuum has been a multiple times a day noise theyβre now accustomed too. Clearly it doesnβt bother them a bit!
