Meet K9 Trooper Cheis, aka "Cheese" 🧀 — a 3-year-old German Shepherd from the Slovak Republic serving as an explosive detection dog for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Stationed at the State Capitol with Trooper Andrew Coppinger, Cheese keeps Tennessee safe with regular sweeps and statewide callouts. When he’s off duty, he loves fetch, belly rubs, and yard playtime. A true hero and an invaluable member of our team!

A Little hero in making 💙🐾
Emerald Shores Humane Society recently rescued a litter of Belgian Malinois puppies, and one special pup is joining the Pensacola Police K9 family! Currently going by Pfui, he’s already learning commands like Pfui, No, and Leave It.

The Pensacola Police Department is partnering with Pensacola’s Finest Foundation to fund Pfui’s training and equipment as he prepares to serve our city.

Let’s show our support and follow along as Pfui trains to become a hero in our community! 💙🐕
