Easter Creek Farms, LLC

Easter Creek Farms, LLC Family life | Farm life | Realtor life We collect and occasionally sell eggs and enjoy growing and preserving much of our own produce.

Easter Creek Farms, LLC began with a little girl's love for horses and the outdoors long before the real estate was purchased. Born in New York City, proprietor Sage Easter began her riding career in the 4H as a young child as soon as she moved to the foothills of NC in the early 80's. She has placed Top Ten at the National and World Championship levels of breed competition in In-Hand, Under Saddl

e, and Driving classes. When she gave up her amateur status, she dedicated her time to teaching beginners the importance of safety and horsemanship skills at their quaint NW Louisiana farm through private lessons, riding camps, and community ed classes through the local community college. In addition to horse-specific endeavors, Sage has also taught community classes in the kitchen at their farm on goat-milk soap making and creative journal making. The riding programs at ECF are no longer active, but we still maintain some of our retired horses, a rescue donkey, a handful of goats, and a bigger handful of chickens. Blueberry pepper jelly and elderberry syrup are two of the most requested items coming out of our farm kitchen. Sage has been a licensed Realtor since early 2007 and enjoys creatively connecting her two businesses with an entrepreneurial spirit. Easter Creek Farms, LLC owns and manages several carefully curated North Bossier rental properties, and maintains ethical landlord practices. In an exciting fusion she refers to as Family Life~Farm Life~Realtor Life, Sage enjoys living out her mantra of "Pursuing Home" in everything she does. Helping others appreciate and steward the blessing of their own home continues to drive her in all her work. Stay tuned for new opportunities to join her in her passion.

Not sure about yall-but I am fascinated with side saddle.

Seeing as there was some love for the side saddle shot from earlier in the week, here’s another from the same meet in 2015, this time of elegantly popping over a hedge while riding aside.

Our Story

Easter Creek Farms, LLC began as a small, full service boarding facility. We taught beginning horsemanship programs to children and adults and have prepared many for horse-ownership, competition, and US Pony Club Events beginning in 1998. Owner, Sage Easter began her riding career in the 4H as a young child in NC in the early 80s. She has placed in the Top Ten at National and World Championship levels of breed competition in In-Hand, Under Saddle, and Driving classes. When she gave up her amateur status, she dedicated her time to teaching beginners the importance of safety in addition to horsemanship skills through private lessons, riding camps held at their quaint Louisiana farm, community ed classes through the local community college, and other creative approaches. Sage also served as a Horse Management Judge in many of the region’s US Pony Club events. In recent years, most of the farm’s favorite horses have retired or gone on to greener pastures. The riding programs at Easter Creek Farms are not currently active, but Easter Creek Farms, LLC still enjoys daily farm activities. We care for the remaining horses, collect eggs from our hens, and garden and preserve what we grow in the summer months. Blueberry pepper jelly and elderberry syrup from the kitchen of ECF is a big hit all around the area, and you will routinely see Easter Creek Farms eggs for sale to raise money for the family’s kids to go on missions trips. In addition to farm-specific endeavors, Easter Creek Farms, LLC has broadened their interests by entering the world of real estate in many different facets.

Sage has been a licensed Realtor since early 2007 and has enjoyed creatively connecting two of her businesses with an entrepreneurial spirit. She she specializes in military relocation and horse properties. She also routinely helps investors, first-time home buyers, and folks having to go through the trenches of a short-sale. Forever a coffee lover, it is not uncommon to see her treating someone to coffee at a local shop to make sure they have their real estate questions answered...whatever they may be. She is a full-time, full-service Realtor and does not hire assistants or closing coordinators in an effort to streamline communication with her clients.

Easter Creek Farms, LLC also owns and manages some carefully curated North Bossier rental properties. and maintains ethical landlord practices. Future plans include adding to the rental inventory and an exciting FUSION of the Easter Creek Farms and the Easter Creek real estate activities. Stay tuned!
