🐱 FeLv is a retrovirus, meaning it may not be cleared over time.
🐱Clinical signs can range from poor coat condition, progressive weight loss, pale gums, and loss of appetite.

It’s past Halloween, but we’re still seeing some spooky stuff! 👻🙀 Even though it is very cold, fleas are still out and about. This video was taken this week when it was 28° outside! This is just a cute video to simplify the harmful effects of your pet having heartworms. We will go more in depth to educate our clients as this month progresses. April is Heartworm prevention month. 😱This sweet pup came to us with blood in the urine and straining to urinate. Only small amounts of urine would come out each time and he would frequently push. Today we got to see a patient we don’t always get to experience. This kitten has cerebellar hypoplasia, and this occurs due to the cerebellum failing to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls motor skills, balance and coordination. Most common cause of this condition is due to the mother becoming infected with Feline Panleukopenia Virus and passes it to the kittens. There is a vaccination to prevent this virus, which is why we try to educate our clients to stay up to date.♥️ Another name for this lack of development is called Wobbly cat syndrome. — Need to make an appointment?
