* Our 2nd time showing at our fair we are incredibly thankful to our 4h family being patient and helpful as this was our first time showing poultry and first time ever bringing such a large show team! While it was an extremely hot day I’m so proud of Marivel for being showing 6 rabbits!! We were so happy other youth with our rabbits did well and recieved amazing comments too! From 5 different creme litters we had some good hopefuls show in open creme now let’s see how some of those do at our next fairs and show 🤞 we do decent! Well folks the beauty of creme puffs is how variation can still happen between littermates. I’m very excited for my golden girls off an GC Apollo daughter taken to open BOB convention winner Sirius. Let’s see how theses girls do in Fort Smith in the 2023 AR-OK State Fair Rabbit Show wish us luck 🤞 hope to see many rabbit friends! If your interested in any cremes I have a couple does from various litters as well as a brood brun buck ready for a new herd!

Good afternoon guys!
Heat index being in the 100s to weather 88 today we are getting posing time in!! As a basic rabbitry setup we’ve been building a heat hardy herd. With weights gaining, I’m happy there was no major heat stress issues. We’ve even had healthy and chunky kits born from mommas on 105 day. A photo of a young buck out of granded stock. Hey folks, I’ve been a little MIA lately due to the semester wrapping up, litters, and more to be explained in post following. But I’d love to thank Northwest Arkansas Rabbit Club for throwing a fantastic show, my own team was made of 9-11 week olds I loved getting opinions on them and getting their first show experience! Hey Folks!
It’s been a while, on a late recall I lost 9 hopefuls and many more grow outs, if you’ve inquired about rabbits from me I haven’t forgotten and will be in touch. Went out with the old show team to shake off our loss and have some fun with our southern central friends. Got to bring my barn partners out for their first show and they did absolutely amazing! No major big wins but many 1st and I couldn’t be prouder!

Hey folks here is what our show schedule is looking like this year! Also remember bucks need some time to shine on the table too.

Don’t forget to show some of your bucks, whether it’s your breeding bucks, potential replacements, or a maybe grow out. Having one or two bucks on the table isn’t enough for a leg if BOB is a doe. Bucks are just as important as does in a breeding show program. The breed can only be as competitive as we make it to be.

Merry Christmas Eve hope everyone is having a fun time with friends, family, and loved ones. Stay warm, stay safe, and have lots of fun!
The creamery has been busy nursing kits, deciding culls and moving juniors into their own grow out pens away from dams. The New Zealand’s are close behind we can not wait to see what awaits us in this litter!

Wishing everyone to stay safe and warm! Today I added everyone’s buckets of straw to stay warm outside. Of course our creme doe that missed in October decided to kindle during the first snow! We are thankful to have healthy babies to shelve.

I’ve been asked about my kits. My litters are spread out with jrs available in January after I access their quality and type. One of my creme pairing didn’t take unfortunately but to have completely unrelated pairs still available for both breeds is a blessing. We thank everyone for patience and support!

December is a busy month for us, however, with the help of our amazing friend and 4H leader we managed to send two cremes and a New Zealand doe! This was the first time my rabbitry made it out to Arkansas Delta Rabbit Breeders Association thank you for putting on the show!

Good Morning Folks!

I’m very excited for this upcoming year to use our two herd sires Sirius (convention BOB winner) and Apollo (registered with two legs). I’ve decided to pull Sirius from the show team for the remainder of the year for TLC after nearly a month on the road. That being said he has fingers crossed a litter on the way! Apollo will be breeding a few does in the upcoming week he’s a big buck at 10lbs 4 oz to help us achieve heavier weights.

Mitza’s Rabbitry attending the first show for Northwest Arkansas Rabbit Club supporting our club, 4H, and our breeds. We did our best at our fourth show of 2022. Show team walked away with a BOS in meat lover specialty with creme and BOB in New Zealand’s breed show B! Our first big win for our New Zealand program we are very happy, thank you Mr. Don!

Hey folks, cat’s or I should say rabbit’s out of the bag!

While it’s no secret this summer I’ve been outsourcing new bloodlines to have genetic diversity in my area. Everyone has almost arrived! Couple months ago after a fall through deal, I continued my search on the west coast. Finding I made the purchase on prospecting herd sire for 2023! RMA’s Sirius, the jr buck I entered in 2022 ARBA Convention for comments to total suprise the little buck took BOB for Open Creme D’Argents!

Sirius will finish 2022 with the current show team and join my F2s in the 2023 show team. I cannot wait to see him with some of my favorites on the same pedigree. Down below is RMA’s Sirius with after winning ARBA BOB Open Creme D’Argents! Thank you Mr. and Mrs Glisans!

Hey Folks,

Mitza’s Rabbitry attended the amazing show put together by The Rabbit Posse of Oklahoma club! I'm excited to announce that my little sister Maribel has finally joined me with her first rabbit Saphira, together we had a total of six rabbits showing.

We would love to thank our friends Mrs. Singer, Mrs. Orler, Mrs. Larson, and Miss. Afton, Mrs. Haley, Miss Haley, and the Vassmer family for helping our breeding program through stock, buck services, or teaching us more knowledge. That being said I'm excited to announce that the RPO show allowed us to have three does bred and our sr creme buck was able to cover an outside doe, along with two rabbits registered! The team couldn't have done this without our friends or our amazing parents, we earned our Braum's ice cream!
