(And yes, he does wear a harness and walks on a leash. He likes to eat dandelions—and his favorite snack is quartered blueberries. 😁)

The front of our Bentonville clinic may look a bit of a mess, but the tree is only covering the sidewalk and the parking lot is fully accessible. The clinic only lost some trim pieces. We will be up and running first thing Tuesday morning. Same for our Rogers clinic.
Hope all of our friends are doing well! Your fur kids may be timid with all the downed leaves and limbs. Be patient with them. It’s an adjustment for them too.

Malcolm is a LIFESAVER!! He participated in his first blood donation today. He gave 45 mLs to a kitty at our hospital. His owner is Ria, one of our stand-out CVTs. She says Malcolm is currently varying degrees of high, irritated, and tired but with a good nap, will be happier about his efforts.

We are excited to announce that both All Pets Animal Hospital locations passed our evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) with flying colors! Only 15% of veterinary hospitals undergo the rigorous accreditation process, setting ourselves apart from other hospitals. At last count, only 10 veterinary hospitals in Arkansas are accredited. Huge congrats to the teams at All Pets for their daily commitment to excellence in veterinary care. And a huge thank-you to the pet-loving community for appreciating the hard work from our teams. Your pets are why we do this!

A friend of our practice found three puppies who need some help and new homes.

Currently they are being bottle fed and appear to be about 4-weeks old.

The pups are all female, wobbly walking, barking, wagging tails..

We want to share some happy news... The mama of these 9 puppies was a pregnant stray who found just the right people at just the right time. They were actually born at our Rogers hospital a month ago and stopped in this week to say hi!

It is with the deepest sorrow that we want to let you know that one of our beloved Veterinary Nurses, Michael Oxford, has passed away after a brief illness. Our team is absolutely crushed. We know that many of you also loved Michael, and often asked for him by name. He loved your pets. He really, truly loved them. As tough as he appeared on the outside, he was absolutely the most tender caregiver you could ever want for them.

Michael was an Air Force veteran with two deployments to Afghanistan, a former Eagle Scout, and a big brother to so many members of our team. He had been with All Pets for 11 years and was instrumental in training dozens of other Nurses. He also stepped in to air up flat tires, change windshield wipers, lend you a stethoscope or a pen, or a helping hand before you even asked.

We will be closing our Bentonville and Rogers hospitals this Saturday, January 27, so that our team is able to attend his service. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/rogers-ar/michael-oxford-11637385

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they grieve this tremendous loss. He will be deeply, deeply missed by so many.

Our Rogers and Bentonville hospitals will close at noon on Monday 1/15 due to road conditions. We plan to open at the normal time on Tuesday 1/16, but may close at noon Tuesday as well. Stay posted for updates.

Did you know we offer a "chill" protocol for pets who have difficulty tolerating vet visits because of serious fear or anxiety? We believe it is much better to plan in advance with pre-meds than to force a pet to undergo an experience that may only worsen their anxiety.

Poor Sooie had a rough morning. An allergic reaction caused facial swelling and discomfort for her. Fortunately her family brought her in right away for treatment and she's doing great now!
A reaction like this can be caused by a bee or wasp sting, snake bites, even (rarely) vaccines. When caught early, as in Sooie's case, the outcome is a happy one.
