Feel free to call the office to leave non-urgent messages for the doctor (which she will return tomorrow), refill medications, and schedule appointments. 🚨 Attention Clients! 🚨

Dr. O'Keefe will be out of the office this Tuesday, April 8th. She’ll be at the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, speaking to students on behalf of her friends over at Veterinary Practice Partners about the real-life experiences they can expect after vet school and offering advice to the next generation of veterinarians. She loves the opportunity to connect with future colleagues and share valuable insights from her own journey in veterinary medicine, and the lessons she’s learned being a young entrepreneur and business owner. 🐾🎓

While Dr. O'Keefe is away for the day, our dedicated staff will still be at the clinic to assist you! Feel free to give us a call with any questions or messages to leave for the doctor, appointment scheduling, or medication refills. 💊

Dr. O'Keefe recently traveled to University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine to speak to the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) on the same topic and is looking forward to many more college visits. Here are a few pictures from that fun lunch and learn! 📸✨

We want to give a huge shoutout to Dean and Wags to Riches Pet Grooming for the amazing groom she did on our office dog, JB, this morning! 🐾 Dean did an incredible job, and JB was so comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. He enjoyed it so much that he wanted to stay in the tub instead of getting out when it was time to go home 😂

Also, CONGRATULATIONS to them on opening their new salon at 1003 SE 28th St in Bentonville, right around the corner from our hospital! We’re so excited to have such great friends and a trustworthy groomer nearby. Highly recommend checking them out, we wouldn’t trust our angel baby JB with ANYONE else’s scissors! ✂️🐶 look at his cute little paws!

Did you know Dr. O’Keefe crochets and has her own Etsy store? Two weeks ago she started on a special project - to crochet 35 pugs to be given as party favors at a little girl’s 7th birthday party. This morning she shipped the army of pugs off to NYC just in time for the party Friday! When she isn’t at work at the clinic she’s typically crocheting 24/7, what animal should she make next?

We put the future owner of Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital, Dr. Marshall O’Keefe (Dr. Audra’s four year old son) to work this afternoon! We truly are a family business and love teaching, even from a young age 😂🫣 he loves to clean if anyone needs a good helper!

Meet Fig, our brave little Bambino kitty friend who had to undergo emergency full-mouth extractions today. 😿 Despite the challenges, she still managed to be the sweetest girl through it all, and we can’t help but think she now resembles Grandma Chocolate from SpongeBob! 🍫😹 Sending Fig all the love and healing vibes as she recovers from this big day! 💖

It’s that time of the month again! While we thankfully don’t have snow on the ground this week like we did in this picture last month, we are going to continue our trend of doing discounted exams on the last Tuesday of the month - for the month of March! The exam cost for both sick and wellness exams is only $25 on Tuesday March 25! Please note, all other services, vaccines, meds etc, are still regular price.

Dr. O'Keefe has a new furry family member! 😍

🌟 Adoption Announcement! 🌟

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about our sweet Tully! Today, Tully went to the vet for his neutering appointment—and left with a forever family! ❤️ Our amazing vet fell head over heels for him, and it was a perfect match!

Tully is now off to a loving home where he will receive all the cuddles and care he deserves. We couldn’t be happier for him and wish his new family all the joy in the world.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Tully on his journey. We know he will bring so much love and happiness to his new home! 🐾💖

✨ We had such a fun morning with the Williams’ fam this morning! Matteo, Mila, Missy, and Mowgli were so well behaved and all did wonderful for their wellness exams and vaccines with Dr. O’Keefe. They were all such angel babies! 😇
