🎉 Have you heard the news? We’re hosting an open house on February 8th with our great friends at Bentonville Animal Services! We can’t wait to show off our hospital and get to meet you and your pets!

💋We will have a kissing booth and will be taking free pictures of your pet for Valentine’s Day, free microchipping, tours of the hospital, giveaways, info on adoptable pets at Bentonville Animal Services and more! 💕

❄️ Weather Update ❄️

Due to current winter weather conditions, Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital will be CLOSED today. We will not be opening at 10am as originally planned. The safety of our staff, clients, and furry friends is our top priority.

We plan to reopen tomorrow for regular Saturday hours, but please stay tuned to our social media for any updates. In the event of an emergency please contact the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas at 479-346-4229.

Since we are stuck at home and missing our patients today we would love to see your pets loving (or hating) the snow! Please share pictures in the comments below!

Due to incoming inclement weather Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital will be closing early today 1/9 at 4pm. We are planning on having a late start tomorrow Friday 1/10 and opening at 10am. Keep an eye on our social media and we will let everyone know ASAP if the situation changes.

Dr. O’Keefe’s labs Brody and Birdie would like all of their friends to get home safely to their couches in the bad weather! Thank you for your understanding! ❄️☃️

We’re so excited to welcome 2025 and all the growth it will bring to our practice! As we continue to expand, our commitment remains the same: providing exceptional care to the pets and families of Northwest Arkansas. 🐾

Thank you for trusting us with your furry family members. We know it can be scary to take the leap of faith and try a new vet, but we are so grateful to all of the wonderful clients who have given Dr. O’Keefe the opportunity to win their trust as their new family veterinarian.

🐾 Happy birthday, puppies! 🐾

Gypsy presented to Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital this morning for an emergency C-section and spay after being unable to deliver the puppies herself over the last 24 hours. We’re excited to share that Dr. O’Keefe delivered two healthy, adorable puppies via c-section and mama Gypsy is on the mend and home with her two babies! These are the first puppies we’ve delivered at the hospital as we’ve only been open for 3 months, and will likely be the last of 2024 (unless something crazy happens tomorrow haha). Happy birthday little ones!

Even the toughest breaks heal faster with a little furry love! 🐾 Dr. O’Keefe’s son Marshall may have taken a tumble and ended up with a broken right arm, but his best friend, Toby the kitten (who was a feral baby found by Bentonville Animal Services), is right by his side offering snuggles, purrs, and plenty of encouragement.🩵🐾 Do you have a pet at home that helps you when you’re sick? Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital upcoming holiday hours:

We will be closed on Thursday 11/28 for Thanksgiving, open on Friday 11/29, and closed again on Saturday 11/30 to give our staff time with their families! We will be back in the office on Monday 12/2 at 8am. 🦃🍁🍂

Big day for our buddy Riley the cute Corgi! 🐾 Today, he had a dental cleaning and a non-cancerous mass removed at Dogwood Trails. Keeping up with regular dental cleanings for Riley is so important to us, as it helps protect his teeth and gums for the long run. 🦷✨ Just like with people, preventative dental care in pets can help them enjoy happier, healthier lives for years to come!
