Currently we are offering our In-kennel Board and Train Program, a three week intensive program which includes basic obedience training for your dog and six follow-up classes for you. Because choosing a qualified trainer is an important decision, we invite you to visit our facility (by appointment, please!) and meet with Jim personally to discuss your pet's needs.

Hello Facebook friends. Happy New Year!

We are currently accepting reservations for our three-week in-kennel Board and Train program. Give Jim a call and he will be happy tell you all about his training methods and answer any questions you may have.

We are now also offering boarding services. Rest assured that your pup is in good hands, as our home is located right next door to our kennels and we are always just a few steps away.

Lucky Mack is going home! He was really happy to see Mom and Dad. They picked him up today and had their first of six follow-up classes. During these private sessions, Jim will teach them how to properly execute all of the commands that Mack learned during his three-week Board and Train Program. Mack was a stellar pupil and his owners were very proud.

This little beauty is Ruby. She is just starting her down command today and will going home next week. When her training is complete, her owner will come and pick her up and have the first of six follow-up classes where she will learn to execute all of the commands that Ruby has learned. This pretty girl is Remy. She is working on heeling, sitting and staying. She is a very intelligent German Shepherd, full of energy, and is doing very well. Jim uses both hand and voice commands and works with each dog in our program several times a day. Looking for a trainer? This is Artie. He has just about completed our in-kennel Board and Train Program and will be going home tomorrow. These classes are an integral part of the dog's training. Jim will work with Artie and his owner every seven to ten days until they have established a successful working relationship. This pretty girl is Diana. She has been here at Durham Kennels for about ten days and, as you can see, she is making great progress. Diana is participating in our in-kennel board and train program, a three week basic obedience training intensive. During her stay, Jim will work with her several times a day and teach her both voice and hand commands. Once Diana's training is complete, her owner will bring her back for six follow up classes. These one-hour classes are designed to teach the owner how to successfully execute all of the commands that the dog has learned. For more information, please call (859)985-1629.
