Unfortunately we do not have any hay to sell. Due to the drought, we only got one cutting last year and things are still uncertain this year. We’ll be sure to let you know if/when things change.

Hi All, the upcoming weather is very promising. We hope to bale July 5,6,7. You are welcome to come and load your trailer on a baling day. If you bring your children they need to stay in your vehicle because we don't want to see anyone get hurt. You will need to load your trailer yourself. It is first come first serve. We will not HOLD bales for you unless we receive cash payment ahead of time. June has seen record rain fall so we were not able to have a cutting and lost money. We have also purchased a new tractor, storage barn and various baling equipment to the tune of 150K. Without the new equipment we will not continue making the small bales because of the challenging physical work. So the bales this year will be $6.00 per bale. And we continue to require CASH only as payment. Please do not bring a check and ask us to make an exception because you are honest. We are trying to make the bales a uniform weight but I am not going through the extra work of weighing the bales and we will not sell based on weight. If the business becomes too much of a hassle because of bad checks etc. it is not something I will continue. We appreciate your business and honesty. We have made a huge investment to keep this business going and hopefully we will be able to continue Hee Haw Hay a long time! We will keep you posted!
Another update: Hoping to get out in the field within a week. Just trying to find a 5 day window without rain! We'll keep you posted!
Just a quick update. We WILL have hay this year. The field is still drying out. We anticipate being able to bale in 2 weeks or more. We will certainly keep you posted as we want it as soon as you do!

We have SOLD all of the small squares (unless I have spoken to you in the past few days). No more small squares for 2018.
We will round bale the last or 4th cutting around September 10 or so.
The round bales will be mainly made of alfalfa, not much grass. If you want some they are $100 per round bale.
We are not taking orders for next year. As always look to this page for current information.
It has been a challenging summer but with 5 weather apps Susan managed to find the windows to bale.

Hi everyone it has a busy and challenging hay season so far! The second cutting has now been sold. The third cutting is soon to be round baled only and it has been sold. We still have an excellent and never rained on first cutting in the barn. The cold and then the rain have caused additional expenses and losses. So we wanted to let you know 2 very important things:
1. As of September 1 we are raising our per bale price to $6 Cash only as usual
2. Many of you have mentioned wanting more hay later. We are not holding any hay unless you pay for it now. People say they want more and then change their minds. It is impossible for us to plan.
We hope you understand how very difficult it has been to predict the weather this summer. We have had many expenses in making and storing the small squares.

Update: humidity is causing hay to dry 3 times slower. Don't want anyone to have wet hay! Hopefully we will be baling tonight and tomorrow and will store bales in barn. You will receive same $4.50 per bale rate. Sorry for all the confusion. Just want to ensure best quality hay!

First cutting today! Orchard,Timothy, and brome grass with alfalfa. Plan on baling this Wed. June 7. If you’re interested in buying off the rack in the field please let us know so we can set some aside for you. Cost from taking it off the hay wagon after baling is $4.50 per bale. You transfer and load your trailer. No bales will be left outside overnight and once they are put in the barn they are $5.00 per bale. We cannot hold any wagons of hay, so if you’re interested in buying off the rack, you must plan on picking up Wednesday, the day of baling. Please let us know if you have any questions!
The racks are ready and the old barn has a new roof! We have more room to store hay and plan to have more hay to store! We plan on doing all small squares for first and second cuttings. Prices will be $5 per bale and $4.50 a bale if you pick it up from the racks on the day of baling. We also want you to know that we are NOT able to deliver. Please message us if you have questions.
