These really got me to thinkin' about myself. I really try to treat, speak & do to others the way I would like done to me. Honestly, it rarely works out that way. I have to keep reminding myself & stopping myself from reacting to those circumstances! Let me tell ya....THAT IS THE HARDEST THING TO DO! Especially, considering I've always been reactive in those moments & traditionally the 1st one to "lose their everluvin' mind", just sayin'. So here's what caused my wheels to turn & start smoking from all the overprocessing, what if's & shoulda-coulda--woulda moments...

I am ever so slowly building MY confidence in HIM. I still have a long way to go. I hear this small niggling voice in my head saying I need to try Zoom or FB lives. I have been resisting for awhile because it SCARES ME TO DEATH! It is one thing to type but let people see you....
I reallize I need to put it in my box but as you all are learning, I am a master procrastinator & I'll get to it later kinda girl. I don't say that with pride neither but it truly is a problem I'm having trouble overcoming! Some things are easier than others that's for sure!

This got me to thinkin' ... THAT NOBODY ... should experience what we've gone thru regarding their kids &/or family. I don't recommend posting on FB & airing "dirty laundry" to the public. I am ashamed to say, I have posted, responding to someone else's comment(s). I used to lose my everluvin' mind, AAANNNND that my friends, IS NOT a place I wish to visit again! I have turned my back on God, prayed for help/answers, when I FID NOT get the one I wanted, i basically trhrw an adu I t temper tantrum lol. It is sooo hard to be ok when you're the one "making that call" to change things FOREVER!! Even if you don't think or feel He's there, HE IS. I know firsthand what it's like to have a friend not agree with you, bail on you when they should've been supportive, but DID NOT agree w/my decision. Since then I have grown alot, learned to take "criticism" without blowing a gasket & actually talking thru those hurts. My issue now, tone & volume! I don't want to be that person anymore. Some think my change is good, others not so much. I 2nd guess myself alot, wondering if I'm truly doing what's right or best in a situation & wondering if my approach is from God's point of view! I am a work in progress like everyone else.
Soooo ladies, that being said ... if you don't have someone you can count on, joining our weekly group may be helpful. Rest assured, that what's said in the group will stay in the group & may not necessarily belong in our texting group. Currently we're reading thru the Bible chronologically, talking back & forth about what we've read & coloring. When we're done, we're gonna start all over again
We ALL need someone to strengthen, encourage & be there with us as we go thru life's valley's & mountains. A good trusting support system is an amazing thing to have!
Mercy that was soooo much! But, if it helps at least one person, then it was worth it! I hope it made sense too!

Wondering if this is something I do? Telling someone the truth about their issues, can it be misinterpreted as criticism? I try to be honest to the best of my abilities, it's really hard to be honest. I surely don't want to point out someone else's faults while ignoring my own...

It says, God is enough! In my circumstances, in all our family's been through, I have most definitely questioned & wondered if He was enough. I believe it now, however, & im.sure I'm not alone, I have & continue to forget He is enough! I have to remind myself of the worry he has taken from me when I Let Go & Let God...

Hhhhmm, what's on my mind? Not much. Catching up on mending so I don't keep getting behind. Doing a bit of reading & it strikes me, it's June 1st! Almost 1/2 a year gone already. Man time flies anymore! Once I'm done with a little bit more mending I'll be headed outside to tackle some "beautification" stuff outside LOL.

Day 4 we turned C.B. out with Dummas. Cochise is out in the yard for now, we will introduce him later. C.B. is doing amazing. We are able to walk up to him and catch him, especially when Lani has treats. Lol

The scenario went like this.....
Took a bit, but we finally caught him. Walked him from the bottom back up top w/no issues AAANNND he finally took a few treats from us, so...YAY C.B.! Did some more desensitizing, brushing, currying (he DID NOT like the sound of the metal on his coat lol). Got done with that & worked on rubbing & stroking w/gloves on. That went well until.....it didn't. Went a bit too far down his back leg. This was the end result, anyone care to take a guess @ what happened?

Alrighty, so we went down after several hours & guess what?! YEP HE'S HARD TO CATCH! We had been trying to get him to take treats from us but he had no idea how to take them. However, as you can see, he found the bag & had no problem digging into them that way! It only took a few min to catch him so that's not too bad! We've had worse! Time & patience!
Oh, & we got his height & weight...

We’ve received word that a large group of horses are in the slaughter holding facility. There is a load bound for Canada, and a really rough group that was diverted from heading to Mexico to give us a chance at them.

Horses are gentle and trusting by nature. They enjoy being worked with, given attention and affection, and genuinely work hard to please their owners. They will work on injuries, through illness and until their hearts literally give out.

These unlucky ones can no longer work so they are taken to the sale/auction and dumped by their previous owners. That is their thank you. This is their retirement.

The only interested buyer? The meat man. These horses are exported to Canada and Mexico to be rendered for their meat in brutal painful deaths.

Some people say they deserve it. Some people say they are there for a reason.

We do NOT agree.

Ally and I are prepared to go inside this horrible facility and attempt to rescue every single one but we can’t do this without your help.

After all, how can we look into these faces and say, “no sorry, can’t help you.”

How can anyone? How can you?

We will be running live feeds so you can see for yourself the terrible conditions of these loyal wonderful horses have found themselves in here on Facebook, on on TikTok and on Instagram.

We are 501c3 organization that fights on the front lines one horse at a time. Taking them out of these brutal conditions, rehabilitating and rehoming them into forever homes or sanctuary, or releasing them from continuous pain compassionately. We provide updates and track these horses for the rest of their lives to ensure they never end up somewhere like this again.

Even bigger than that, exportation of horses to Canada for slaughter from this particular pen is down 39% from last year. We have stopped trucks. We have fought endlessly to end horse slaughter and make SURE not one more ships over the border.

Hey everyone, meet the newest addition to the Segen Von Gott family, C.B.! Earlier today we traveled to Keswick, VA to visit Colby’s Crew Rescue. While there, Jasmin introduced us to their adoptable "kids" & a few others who weren't. While there we met Reese, Neo, Derpy & Bargain! We thot we had decided on Neo BUT I asked to meet BARGAIN! He seemed curious enough, wanted the attention, BUT is still skittish & not used to being handled or touched alot. Soooo, unfortunately, I overwhelmed the poor kid! Once we get him home I'll be able to give him more time in smaller sessions so as not overwhelm him again. Praying he soon learns to love the attention & treats like 'Chise & 'Massee!

I don't even know what to say, BUT it really brought a ... rush? ... of memories, feelings & things I can't explain....since I don't know what to do with all that & I don't want to let it overwhelm me ... it will go in the box. I may need more than one piece of notepaper ... no matter how I word it or what I put in that paper, it's my prayer when I put it in the box & He will know exactly what to do with it! Soooooo, yesterday, we went & did a thing!!!! Glen was kinda sad last night as we cleaned out the bags, took the tag off & gathered ppwk together for his 'ole FatBob!!!! Out with the old & in with the new as they say. Looking forward VERY MUCH to enjoying being to go on longer rides w/friends whom we've had to say no to in the past!
AAAANNNNDDD ..... w/in the week, the toy hauler will be fixed so we can FINALLY do some camping this season!!!! What's nice, once we get the swing of things, the dogs will be going too!!!!! Been a LONG TIME comin', but FINALLY!!!!

The hardest part of this...is the waiting. I, myself, know what it's like to be so stressed, flipping out over stupid stuff! But then, the unexplainable feeling of being ok no matter what happens .... now that's what I am most grateful for! It only happens when you get TRULY tired of worrying about STUFF you have no control over! We are going to have struggles, no doubt about it! But that last paragraph .... yeah, it can happen when you TRULY give ALL that worry over to God!

This one really got me thinkin'!!!! It has been a ROUGH RIDE! Between family, relationships, friends & churches ... some of the worst things NOBODY should have to go thru have happened! I have struggled, nearly drowned in my emotions & barely hung on! My choices have truly sucked at times! I have questioned my relationship with God & turned my back on Him to make a deal w/the devil (no lie)! WHICH OF COURSE, back-fired! Hmmmmm, talk about a lesson learned the hard way!!!! However, those same choices have brought me to where I am today! I was brought back into a relationship w/Anita Hung! Together we've also been thru alot the past couple years...
I'm not sure how to close, but, I'm pretty sure my "Let Go & Let God box" has been key! I turn it over because I cant do nothin' about anything on my own! Only GOD can fix me & the issues in my life & those around me! I have more peace & less stress by taking it outta my hands & putting it into His ... I highly recommend creating & using a !
This was soooo long winded! A live probably would've been better suited but I'm scared senseless to do that! These songs came to kind as I was writing this...dear younger me, let go let god, outta my hands & all joy no stress!
